A new treatment tag: mc-disable-cosmetic-companions was added in this week's preview. It is practically confirmed then this is a cosmetic thing coming to Bedrock. Whether it will come to Java is yet unknown.
Ok...I'm not entirely sure what this is, but it has to be for Drop 4. New components were added and the name companion is what piqued my interest.

Something interesting, today Bedrock got a new packet, it's not for cushions, and the only other block this applies to are beds.

You know, a Nether update size Drop could happen. It would just need to be behind an experimental toggle so they can work on it for longer and address community feedback. Let's just hope the Java team remembers they have experimental toggles.
