@Delta- Hi @Delta — I need immediate assistance. Me and my brother changed our travel plans and came home from the Bahamas a day early because dad had a stroke. We made it to JFK today, but our connecting flight home to Portland (DL684) was cancelled.

We need Delta to find us confirmed transportation to PDX as soon as possible. We are willing to take connections or depart from JFK, LGA, or EWR. Please escalate this and help get us home. We cannot simply wait indefinitely on standby.

We are now stranded at JFK and have only been offered standby for tomorrow — not confirmed seats. We specifically ended our trip early because of a family medical emergency, so potentially being stranded here for another day or longer is extremely upsetting.
