The government completely abused the alert system tonight. I was alerted twice. Once at 7pm and again at around 10:30 pm. These alerts should be reserved for when a specific areas life is in danger. They should not be used as a 'reminder' for people not to light fireworks or bbq's in a heatwave...

It has long been a 'conspiracy theory' that the elite will use symbolism, 'slip of the tongue' mistakes, leaked videos, and subtly publicise other evidence of their evil acts because they believe that they then have the consent of the population. In other words, if they make it clear enough that they are going to do something and nobody stops them then the population is consenting by submission. Nobody would have a problem with government ministers joking about releasing thousands of dangerous criminals early if it wasn't actually happening. But it is happening. That's why people are taking this video seriously. You are telling us exactly what you are doing because you believe that we are consenting now that you have told us.
I think everyone can see there was no ill intent behind this ribbing of the new Lord Chancellor - a role I once filled and which comes with immense challenges thanks to the vandalism inflicted on our justice system by the last Conservative government. But I appreciate this is an extremely serious issue and do not want anyone to mistake this moment of levity for a lack of serious intent.

Counter Terrorism police are now leading the investigation into Ann Widdecombe's murder. So much for 'no evidence to suggest it's terrorism or politically motivated'. They should stop asking us not to speculate. Whenever we speculate, we are usually right. The public can solve these crimes much faster, and with a much higher accuracy rate, than the police can.

The news that Ann Widdecombe may have been murdered shows exactly why Nigel Farage needs security for the rest of his life.

Keir Starmer needs to address and condemn the violence in London last night and fast-track all of these far-right thugs through the courts, as he does whenever white working class Brits let their emotions get the better of them.

The Parliamentary Standards Committee may very well find that Nigel Farage has broken the rules, and if so it is very likely that a second by-election is called. What if he hasn't broken the rules though? Or what if it's not seen as severe enough to require a by-election? MPs from every other party have been saying that Farage isn't up for the job, and that he needs to go. Farage has just given them a chance to get rid of him. If the other parties are wrong about a second by-election, then Farage will rightly be able to say that he gave them all a chance to get rid of him and none of them had the courage to stand against him. Very high risk, high reward for Farage. If there's no second by-election and every other party, including Restore, has misjudged this and slept on the only guaranteed opportunity to challenge Farage before the next general election, then I really think he'll be unstoppable.

3 black men attack a white man, punching him in the back of the head and pushing him to the floor. He stands up, and was probably dazed, disorientated, and confused. A female officer, remembering her training and the Race Action Plan, chooses to run up to the white victim rather than the 3 men assaulting him. While he's standing up, she intuitively chooses to run up from behind without declaring she was a police officer, and pushes him against the wall. The victim, obviously unaware she was a police officer and feeling he was still being pushed around, rightly took a single defensive strike against the presumed aggressor. Birmingham Police believe that charging disorientated victims from behind during an assault is satisfactory service and meets their incredibly high standards. The police is too far gone. It cannot be saved. I ask Reform and Restore to consider joining the Green Party in committing to defund the police. Birmingham police said themselves, the female officer responded exactly as she was trained to. They didn't learn from Nowak, they won't learn from this. The police need to be disbanded.
We are aware of footage showing the arrest of a man after a disorder on Broad Street at 1.30am on 21 June. Officers found a group of men fighting. As the incident was dealt with, an officer was punched. One man was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer.

My prediction for the Makerfield By-election: Labour will win. It won't be a 'landslide', but it won't be close either. Burnham will win comfortably by a few thousand votes. Restore will probably take a fair cut of Reforms vote, but I'd be shocked if Restore gets anywhere near 10% of the vote, or if this will be the 'shock' that Rupert Lowe is claiming. I'm expecting they'll get around 5%. Despite the small vote share they will get, Lowe and Restore supporters will still spin the result as a huge victory for their first parliamentary candidate. Restore will also probably claim that Reform is no longer up to the job. If they can't win a by-election against an incredibly unpopular Labour Party in a seat which was majority pro-brexit, then how can they possibly win the next general election? That'll be their spin, I suspect. Next up will be the Manchester mayoral election. If Restore doesn't run a candidate there, then in my opinion that proves that their only objective was to hold back Reform and allow Burnham to become PM. I think Restore voters should seriously question Lowe's intentions if that is the case. With Burnham out of the picture, Reform has a much better chance of winning the mayoral election. Green voters will probably vote tactically in Makerfield to let socialist Burnham win and to keep Reform out, but I doubt they'll hold back in the mayoral race. I therefore expect a leadership bid to begin almost immediately. If Starmer is on his way out, then Labour has a better chance of retaining some voters for the mayoral election. Equally, if Labour wins the mayoral race with Starmer as leader then it may give him new ammunition to say his 'change' is working among voters, and it may be enough for him to cling on. There's no downside for Burnham if he begins the leadership challenge early. If Labour loses, it's Starmers fault. If Labour wins it will be because he has given them new hope by beginning the bid. They're my predictions. Labour wins Makerfield comfortably, a bit of a closer mayoral election because Greens will no longer tactically vote. Restore will spin the relatively small & underwhelming result positively for the party, even though we'll be about to get a much further left wing Prime Minister. Restore won't run a mayoral candidate or a candidate in the Aberdeen South by election, but their supporters won't care. In about 36 hours we'll see how right I am.

Remember this for a few years down the line when the Conservatives pledge to reverse the social media bans. They fought for it. The uniparty strikes again.
It is fantastic news that the Government has finally woken up to the dangers of social media for young people. This is an important step in helping parents protect childhood for children. Huge credit goes to @LauraTrottMP and my Shadow Cabinet for relentlessly fighting for this. Conservatives welcome this latest Labour U-turn, and will continue to work for the best implementation of the policy.

Suffolk Police Detective Constable Theresa England believes that police officers who impaled a teenagers face with a metal fence provided a 'satisfactory service', and finds no wrongdoing. When the IOPC forced Suffolk Police to reinvestigate the Detective Superintendent reassigned the case to DC England, claiming no conflict of interest. Now DC England will either find her first investigation was flawed and grossly incorrect, leading broader questions to her other investigations and overall integrity, or she will continue to coverup the misconduct and side with her original findings. To me it is obvious DC England will choose the latter. No investigator is going to contradict their own investigation as doing so would imply she was incompetent, negligent, or even corrupt in her first report. This poor teenager will never get justice for his permanent disfigurement caused at the hands of Suffolk Police.
Replying to @LozzaFox
This is gruesome abuse of power. The police aren’t allowed to disfigure a young boy just because he’s acting defiant to authority. Have you ever met a teenager, that’s ALL they do. This is brutal and the police involved should be punished.

This would almost be as ridiculous as migrating to the UK and then complaining about the British people. Maybe Sadiq is starting to get it?
Complaining about nightlife when you *checks notes* choose to live in Soho is like living in South Kensington and complaining about the museums.

Or moving to Hackney and grumbling about creatives. Living in Richmond and hating green space.

It's all getting a bit silly, isn't it?

A second day of unreset has begun in Belfast. Keir Starmer could have prevented this. All he had to do was reassure the public that he's going to control the problem, rather than blame social media and Nigel Farage as per usual...

Victoria Derbyshire asks if Jonathan Hinder can put himself in the officers' shoes, but I wonder if she has tried putting herself in Henry's shoes. Imagine you've just been stabbed, and one of those stab wounds will be fatal. You are lying on your killers driveway after he's stolen your phone, meaning you cannot call for help yourself. You see the Digwa family take the murder weapon, and plan a story which will ultimately land you in handcuffs and under arrest, rather than your killer. Finally, you hear sirens coming. You think you are about to be saved. The police officers walk calmly over to the house; you hear them ask Vikrum's brother if he has any injuries. The officers finally turn their attention to you, and you finally have the opportunity to get help. You tell the officers you can't breathe, you tell the officers you've been stabbed. Imagine now how your heart would drop as you hear the officer scoff and say "I don't think you have mate". Your spine would shiver as you are then dragged by your belt like a ragdoll across your killers driveway, have handcuffs placed on you, and read your rights. All the while, your killer and his family are walking freely above you. Even though Henry likely could not have been saved, he could have at least died knowing he was believed rather than dying thinking his killers got away with their crimes.
"To me it's unfathomable" Former police officer and Labour MP, Jonathan Hinder, criticises the actions of police in the murder of Henry Nowak by Vickrum Digwa: "the use of handcuffs is just impossible to explain". #Newsnight

What blows my mind is that if I, a Christian man, committed the exact same offence as Vikrum, I would have likely been sentenced to at least 25 years in prison. Murder with a knife almost always begins at 25 years because it's illegal to carry a knife in public. Simply because Vikrum was Sikh he was effectively able to earn himself a 4-year 'get out of jail free' card. This is yet another example of our two-tier state. Assuming ceteris paribus, assuming I committed the exact same offence under the exact same circumstances with the sole exception of not being Sikh, I would have been incarcerated for an additional 4 years. If Sikh's want the immense privilege and responsibility to carry deadly weapons in public, a privilege no other British Citizen is afforded, then they should pay dear consequences if they choose to use that religious article to commit a crime. In other words, it should be an aggravating factor which adds time to their sentence - not the opposite.
🚨 BREAKING: Bodycam footage of the arrest of Henry Nowak, who had been stabbed moments prior by Vickrum Digwa

Henry Nowak had multiple murderers. Vickrum Digwa stabbed him, and then Hampshire Police Officers aided and abetted the murder by restraining Henry and denying him what could have been lifesaving care. Why has only one of the murderers been convicted?

Hampshire Police officers essentially let someone die because they BELIEVED he had been racist. That is the state of the United Kingdom in 2026. The fact the injuries were unsurvivable doesn't matter either. He died in handcuffs, he died not being believed. All because the officers thought he had been racist.

Why was the Vice President evacuated first? I understand they each have their own Secret Service details, but I'd have thought that even if you were assigned to the VP you wouldn't run past the President while he's still in harms way?
