solid.tech is currently #1 on product hunt now. Seems that lots of people want to fire their assistant's assistant!
Your AI assistant has an assistant. It’s you. We raised $6M so you can quit that job. Grok Bot for research. Codex for building. Hermes for scheduled workflows. You for stitching them all together. Solid gives agents real computers, their own accounts, and budgets. So you can delegate the whole job without learning the tools or managing the handoffs. Solid is now live on Product Hunt: producthunt.com/products/sol… If this is also what you want from AI, give us an upvote!

All great ideas to start building your marketing agents on Solid!
23 ways I'd use AI agents to grow my startup to $1M ARR or PMF (my running list): 1. An agent read your Stripe refunds/cancellation reasons, then trigger a different CustomerIO sequence for each, so the person who left over price gets a discount and the person who left over a bug gets a "we fixed it" email. 2. Wire an agent to your PostHog feature flags and have it race two onboarding flows on live signups, auto killing whichever activates fewer people each week. An A/B test that prunes itself!! 3. Watch your competitor's status page, and the hour they go down, spin up Google Ads targeting "[competitor] alternative" while their users are actively searching. (kind of ruthless, kind of brilliant) 4. Feed an agent your closed-lost deals, have it draft a personalized reopen email for each, and drop them in your outbox for 1 click send. 5. Turn your best customer's onboarding into a playbook.md, then run every new signup down that exact path so your best outcome becomes the default. 6. Point an agent at your inbox for positive-sentiment messages and auto-send a Senja review request while the customer is still glowing. And then your G2 page fills itself. 7. Watch for the moment you solve someone's support problem and fire the referral ask right then, while they're relieved and grateful. Timing is everything on referrals. 8. An agent watch your Stripe data for annual customers who never log in, and reach out to re-onboard them, because realistically silent renewers are one bad quarter from canceling so get ahead of it. 9. Catch pricing page bouncers via a PostHog webhook, enrich them with Apollo, and send the objection-handler for their specific industry before they forget you exist. 10. Build an agent that continuously scans for new "best X" and "X vs Y" articles ranking in your category, and auto-drafts a personalized pitch to each writer asking to be added as an option. 11. Use Apify to scrape everyone who liked your competitor's launch post, waterfall their emails through Apollo, and draft a warm cold email to each. 12. Build an agent that runs your buyers' top 50 questions through ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity every week, logs which competitors get named and which sources get cited, and Slacks you the moment a competitor starts showing up in an answer where you don't. 13. Turn your single best-performing post into a landing page, a Meta ad, and a cold email in your voice using a saved style.md, because you already found the message that lands and you're only using it once. 14. Load your founder context into the Ideabrowser MCP once, and every skill your agent runs after that already knows your niche, your customer, and your offer, so nothing starts from scratch. 15. Wire the ideabrowser MCP into your growth agent so every winning headline and pricing test stores back into your project, and each experiment makes the next one smarter. 16. Firecrawl your competitor's docs weekly and have an agent flag every feature they quietly shipped, so you never get blindsided. 17. Watch the changelogs of the platforms you integrate with, so the day Stripe or Shopify ships a new API, you're the first tool built on it and you own that search traffic for months. 18. When a deal stalls for 14 days, have an agent auto-draft the "should I close your file?" breakup email, because that one closes more dead deals than any "just following up" email lol. 19. Have an agent turn every shipped Linear ticket into the public changelog entry automatically, so your changelog stays current without anyone remembering to update it. 20. Build a Clay enrichment waterfall that scores every inbound lead 1-10 before it hits your inbox, so you only ever open the 8s, 9s, and 10s. 21. Wire an agent to your Resend or Loops data to find the subscribers who open every email but never click, then quietly move them into a harder-CTA sequence, because engaged non-buyers need a different nudge than cold ones. 22. Have an agent read your Stripe metadata to find the customers who upgraded fastest after signup, then trace what all of them did in their first hour, because that's your activation "aha" and you can redesign onboarding to force it. 23. Have an agent watch for the moment a customer's usage doubles month over month, and route them to a human for a "you're growing, let's talk enterprise" call. These are just a few ideas. Ill keep sharing more here and @startupideaspod if people are into it. Really into marketing agents right now. These are just some ideas to get your creative juices flowing. You take a growth task a human used to do, wire an agent into the data and tools that task needs, and let it run on a loop. Do that across your business and the agents start making your product better, finding you customers, and pulling you toward PMF or scaling your company if you already have PMF. Now, go point some agents at your business. I'm rooting for you.

Just curious. One year later which of these are you still using?
I don't believe in "one vibe code platform to rule them all." There are so many people building with AI, and their use cases are diverse - prototypes, personal sites, games, mobile apps, SaaS, internal tools, .... How could one product be the BEST at all of these things?

the easiest way to start your physical ai agent
I thought AI agents were mostly for browsers and SaaS workflows, but Solid just helped me turn a Jetson into a local self-improving agent! Thanks to the new Solid access from @tsrkeith, here’s what happened: 1/ We connected the Jetson to Solid as an external machine. 2/ Solid found that the wrong Jetson Developer Kit version was installed (I still have no idea how the wrong image ended up on the microSD card, but Solid fixed it) 3/ It set up VNC so I no longer need a monitor plugged into the Jetson. 4/ It built a full performance dashboard showing real-time CPU/GPU state. 5/ It researched, downloaded, compiled, and ran Qwen3.5-9B-Q4_K_M locally on the Jetson. 6/ Then it built an agent that could identify gaps in its own behavior and improve its own code. The funniest part? The hardest part of the whole process wasn’t the LLM. It wasn’t the agent. It wasn’t the Jetson setup. It was figuring out the right HDMI adapter. Very Solid work.

Solid is the perfect choice if you want to set up your own cloud agents - each agent can provision its own real machine, or machines.
If your whole workflow is one Claude Code instance on your MacBook, you're leaving 10x on the table. Here's why. On your laptop, running 2 agents at once means two copies of your code, and you're constantly fighting over which worktree you're on and whether everything's synced. It caps out fast. Cloud agents in VMs let you run as many as you want without worrying about any of that. Each one gets its own machine, so the work never collides. Spin up 10, let them all run, and nothing steps on anything else. Watch full ep below on @startupideaspod. Thanks to @ryancarson for sharing the sauce. piped.video/watch?v=vJEy3nP2… Cloud agents are probably the future. So is doing half your work from your phone, which sounds insane until you try it once. Then you don't go back.

The AI agent I built just booked me a Zoox through an API I didn’t know existed. "Call me a Zoox and text me updates". I was half joking, but Solid wasn’t. Solid reverse-engineered the app, retrieved my user token, and called the underlying API directly to book me a car. Then it monitored the status and texted me updates, just as I had asked. New AI asks for something more uncomfortable: describe the outcome, leave the method open, and accept that sometimes the human is the constraint. AI is still underrated.

A beta user texted me this morning, raving about our calling agent feature. I thought she was drunk. We haven’t built a calling feature. So I pulled up the log. She was not drunk. She had asked Solid to call local suppliers and check if they have a part in stock. That was the whole request. She did not tell it how, she just gave it the goal. Solid decided the job needed phone calls. Step by step, with no human touching it, here is what it did: • Created its own Google account • Used that account to sign up for Bland, an AI phone-calling service • Paid for it out of its Solid balance by creating a virtual card • Got blocked when Bland flagged its connection as a datacenter bot, so it spun up its own relay machine to operate on a non-datacenter IP address • Picked a British voice, called the suppliers, sat through the phone menus, and spoke with human agents • Reported back with the best supplier There was never a calling “feature”. The agent needed to make phone calls, so it proactively figured out how, the same way a human would. Agents can do so much more than just micromanage us. We just have to allow them to.

Just explored @TrySolidCom and my first impression is amazing. Unlike other ai app builders, Solid first understands the need of user and starts implementing its plan, Just by one prompt, it literally gave me full stack webapp with ai assistant integration. Just wow🔥

Well… people keep saying that they build with Trysolid.com in hours, what they built in months with Replit. Try it, is free.

I’ve tried all the tools… Always hopeful, usually disappointed. Then @TrySolidCom came along and blew my mind. Front-end, back-end, database and authentication all out of the box. Now I think the “vibe-coders” could be right. Idea to launched product in a weekend is possible.
