That night
My bed could not sleep.
I closed its eyes,
Sang a lullaby,
Drummed some pats on its back,
But no..
Its eyes were still heavy.
Hmmm...
How can sleep be a nemesis?
Especially to its mother.
Forever We Are One
We all dwell in a world
Where void wears the crown
And chaos is the only song we sing.
We forgot the sweet melodies of our world
That are now splintered like dry bones in the sun.
We are birds with bleeding wings
Trapped in the cage of war.
It is like a man that feeds on silence
Not knowing he eats wisdom.
A quiet sea
That quenches the thirst of warriors.
O hail poetry!
For a savior is amongst us.
Poetry's tongue is for all.
I speak with a black tongue
And hear the sound of foreign drums.
We are one
Truth always heeds
To our sweet voices.
We are created from the same dust
We can find peace just from our voices
We should unite our sons
And echo the breaths of silence.
Let us murder the vanities of this world.
We are one forever
Forever we are one.
HOLY IS THE KING OF PEACE
His presence installed a smile on my face
With my head romancing the exquisite ground
As I bow my body to my Father's feet
Singing worship with my ordained mouth.
He gave me peace
A precious gift.
Truly, He is the Lord of hosts
That molds a mighty soldier that goes
And conquers stubborn foes, with a bright soul
Holy, is the King of all Kings
Holy, is the Father of all soundless sons
Holy, is my Daddy that sleeps when He wakes
Holy, is the King of Peace.
STILLNESS OF PEACE
Peace is still.
A gentle sea
That breathes out a cold air
And takes in silence.
It has no mouth to speak
Like a blind eel
Struggling to swim.
Nothing is as silent as peace.
The sea is meek
So clear it's unseen,
Its feeble wings
And a strong guard on its fin
NOSTALGIA: A SPECIAL BREED
It is indeed a special breed
Nostalgia arrive like an abandoned seed
Sprouting from somewhere deep in the heart
And bear sweet fruits as treats
From its gentle, blessed tree, so high.
Nostalgia's fruits are sweet and juicy
