Live Account Challenge: $175.57 $MES - Asia/NY Day 15-17: Balance $2,204.43 Sorry for not posting. I've been a little busy. As you can see, I've been looking for lower prices. I had a couple of good trades come back on me. Tuesday, I should have had a BE day, but I was trying to set up NT to auto-close my positions. I let trades run after the close to test the auto-close feature. This resulted in a $100 loss due to the Spacex earnings release. Not a big deal. I would be up $400-$500 more if I had trailed stops instead of letting them come back. This is an area I need to improve upon.

Live Account Challenge: $323.12 $MES - Asia Day 14: Balance $2,044.49 Good start to the week. Only took this trade with my live account. 🟢 Trade: Long (WIN) Risk: $65 Prior to the Globex open, I was looking for a sweep of the lows and a run higher to retrace 50%-70% of Friday's NY range. Price opened strong, NQ opened below the lows and pushed higher. I entered with a stop below the open. I then quickly moved my stop to BE in case price decided to sweep the lows. TP just inside the 1h SIBI which is above the 50% retrace, but below OTE of the range.

I then turned it into a loss today by sizing up and holding onto a long through market open which resulted in a loss. Dumb mistake on my end. I'm happy I took the profit on my funded accounts and didn't play the hold-and-hope game. Live Account Challenge: $128.09 $MES - Asia / NY Day 8 & 9: Balance $1,849.82 Posted trade from today. Yesterday's trade was the same trade idea for a loss. Unfortunately, AI news didn't offer bullish continuation on Thursday. I was confident in a long setup, so I scaled in and out of entries risking a little more (No more than 2 contracts with a little wider stops). Overall, I think I could have achieved the same results with small risk. 🔴 Trade - Thursday, Oct 8: Long ($329) LOSS 🟢 Trade - Friday, Oct 9: Long $457.09 WIN Still bullish bias. 15m FVG, 15m CISD. Stop below 30m IFVG. TP equal highs from Thursday Globex open. Today, was one of the few days I was happy I traded MES over MNQ since it was so much stronger.

Live Account Challenge: ($61.94) $MES - Asia / NY Day 7: Balance $1,721.73 Risk Limit: $50-$75 Price was a little frustrating to watch as NQ showed movement higher while ES consolidated. End of day price was just pinned between the options levels. CORRECTIONS I NEED TO MAKE: ☑️ Don't try to take a quick countertrend scalp if I believe price will continue to trend. ☑️ As backtested, place stops above 15m swing point during Asia. If I don't like the trade enough to do that, don't take the trade. ☑️ I have a lot of patience when in a trade. Need more patience when executing a trade. 🔴 Trade 1: Short (LOSS) Risk: $25.25 15m SIBI, 15m MSS, Entry with stop loss too tight. 🔴 Trade 2: Short (LOSS) Risk $75 Price took out my sellside point of interest at 1h +OB. Took a quick scalp premarket to 30m SIBI. Was immediately invalidated. I didn't wait for all factors of my setup to appear. Need to wait for HTF confirmation, especially after a large drop. I also anticipated price to trade into the daily gap lower, so I shouldn't have taken it. 🔴 Trade 3: Long (LOSS) Risk: $50 Rejection out of the daily gap. I kept my stop below the gap CE to keep within my risk limit for the day. In hindsight, I don't know if I should have widened my SL, or reenter, like I did in the next trade. 🟢 Trade 4: Long (WIN) Risk: $58.75 Same idea. Price swept lows and created a 3m BPR. SL placement covering the whole daily gap this time. Held to end of day for 2.3R.

This is my long idea if price gets back into the 4h gap and shows bullish structure. If price is too bullish, it may not trade that low. I'll watch how it reacts if it retests the NDOG and the recent lows. Let's see what the night brings. I have my alerts set up.

Live Account Challenge: ($69.40) $MES - NY Day 6 - Part 2: Balance $1,783.67 Today's Profit / Loss: ($8.16) Risk Limit: $50-$75 3 CORRECTIONS I NEED TO MAKE: ☑️ When price is close to TP, trail SL tight and don't let it come all the way back for a loss. 😳 Sometimes my patience gets in the way. ☑️ When I said I wasn't going to take shorts...don't take shorts. ☑️ When I said I wouldn't take a trade during PM because of the lack of volatility...don't initiate a trade. WHAT I DID RIGHT: ✅ Stuck to my risk limit 🔴 Trade 1: Long ($20 LOSS) Risk: $75 Waited for pullback into the 15m BISI with stop below the 1h OB. Price was 1 point short of TP and $100 in profit before it reversed. Backtesting showed I should hold the trade, but I think I should have closed it out. 🔴 Trade 2: Short (LOSS) Risk: $27.50 Rejection of 1h SIBI. Shouldn't have engaged in a short. 🔴 Trade 3: Long ($30 LOSS) Risk $67.25 Didn't wait for long entry setup. After I mentally realized I took a short when I told myself I shouldn't have, I immediately entered a long to get back into my original position. Not a good decision, especially taking a trade on low volume.

Live Account Challenge: $61.24 $MES - Asia/London Day 6 - Part 1: Balance $1,853.07 Risk Limit: $30-$50 The trade idea took 10 hours to play out. It was a very choppy overnight session. 🔴 Trade 1: Long ($13 LOSS) Risk: $40 Retest of NDOG. NQ reached ATH and rejected while ES didn't really do anything. I trailed tight and closed for a small loss, thinking price would pull back further. 🟢 Trade 2: Long (WIN) Risk: $31.25 Reentered right after closing the original trade because I saw NQ strongly rejected its 4h gap.

Live Account Challenge: $171.87 $MES - NY Day 5: Balance $1,791.83 Risk Limit: $50-$75 My challenge has changed to $1.5K to $15K. I deposited $ to bring my balance up to $1,500 last week Tuesday. I backtested and found my SL placement would have been better if I had $50-$75 room. I was taken out of so many trades because I was trying to keep my SL within my risk limit (3.5% of balance). 🟢 Trade: Long (WIN) Risk: $77.50 9:30 opened bullish with a close through NWOG. Rejection of 15m BISI and 15m CISD provided further confirmation to hold longs. TP just short of the 7826 options level or NQ Friday highs. Whatever hits first.

Taking the week off from posting. I'm getting a little annoyed with people telling me how to trade. I started posting to track my journey and to hold myself accountable. I also want to have a postive impact on the space, showing both my wins and losses. I'm going to take the week to decide if I want to keep posting.

💣 So....I brought my $500 challenge account back down to $500. I'm now going back to the strategy I used to build the account. I need to stop trying to swing an account with a small balance. I'm killing it by using a swing strategy. I don't know what I was thinking.
