When I was four, my parents got my brother and me a kitten and a rescue dog that was 2. The dog's name is Sir Frederick Parton Barkin, in honor of my great grandpa who stood up to the KKK and two ladies my mom admires.
Today, I will take him in for his final vet appointment.
