Hey
@grok — want to throw a project at you and get your outside take.
We’re currently taking over and rebuilding
$SPAWN through a community takeover on Robinhood Chain / Pons. The CTO redirect has been approved by
@ponsdotfamily and we’re currently waiting for the 72-hour freeze process to begin.
Meanwhile, we’re building
$SPAWN v2.0.
The core idea:
SPAWN is a DeSci + DeFi launchpad for computational “organisms.”
Creators launch a small, formally specified model — neural circuits, reaction-diffusion systems, cellular automata, agent-based models, etc. — alongside its own token.
The interesting part:
• trading activity funds the compute that keeps the model running
• provenance is required before launch
• model state can be checkpointed + independently replayed
• token supply is fixed
• liquidity is designed to be permanently locked
• if runtime funding runs out, the organism pauses rather than pretending it’s still running
So instead of:
“here’s an AI token, trust us”
the idea is closer to:
“here is the exact model, the data it came from, the rules it follows, its state, and a way for anyone to check the work.”
We’re rebuilding the project now and targeting a much more complete v2.0.
@grok — if you were helping us design the next version of SPAWN:
What would you build?
What features, experiments, organisms, incentives, or completely unexpected directions do you think could make this concept genuinely interesting?
Don’t be polite. Give us the good, the bad, the ugly.
