So… what exactly do you do?” That’s probably the question I’ve been asked the most over the past few months asking who I am and what I actually do, so I figured it’s about time I properly introduced myself. Hi, I’m Spec. I help founders, startups, businesses, and organizations grow by combining marketing, branding, content, sales, customer psychology, and AI to build brands people trust and businesses people buy from. My work cuts across growth marketing, brand strategy, content marketing, SEO, social media marketing, founder-led marketing, copywriting, brand positioning, WordPress, CRM, sales, AI automation, customer research, conversion strategy, and growth systems. I enjoy breaking down why people buy, what makes brands memorable, and how businesses can earn attention in an increasingly noisy world. Beyond working with clients, I’m building my own marketing agency while documenting the journey and sharing what I’m learning along the way. If you stick around, expect practical marketing frameworks, in-depth brand audits, campaign breakdowns, case studies, founder and product teardowns, content strategy, AI workflows, customer psychology, growth experiments, remote work opportunities, and honest lessons from working with real businesses. If you’re building a business, a personal brand, or simply want to understand how great marketing actually works, I think you’ll find something valuable here. Looking forward to learning, sharing, and connecting with amazing people here.

If you’re a creator, business owner, or marketer, you need to understand the difference between marketing and sales. Because knowing the difference can completely change how you approach your content, offers, and customers. Marketing gets attention, while sales gets the decision. Marketing helps the right people discover you, understand what you offer, and know why you’re different. Sales takes that awareness a step further by building trust and moving the right customer toward making a buying decision. @creatorsvilage

I just finished a one-hour call with a long-term client based in the US, and honestly, I left that call thinking about something. You know those calls that start with work, business and general updates, and somehow end with you both talking about life? That was this call. He shared some personal things happening, I gave him some feedback on what I thought he could do, and he found it helpful. Then towards the end of the call, he said this has been the most productive conversation he has had so far today. And then he asked about MY work. This part actually stood out to me. He appreciated the work I’ve done for the company for more than a year now. He talked about what I’m doing online. He even mentioned that he saw my convocation post this morning. And I just thought about how interesting relationships can become when you consistently bring value. Because this is not just “my client.” Over time, he has referred me to several people. I’ve joined virtual meetings with top business owners simply because of the relationship I have with him. There have even been times when I shared an idea with him, he found it valuable and wanted me to present it to the board. And this is why I think many of us don’t really understand what to do when we get access to people who are ahead of us. We immediately start thinking: “What can this person do for me?” But sometimes, the better question is: “What can I bring to this relationship?” And no, I’m not saying go and start doing free work for everybody. I’m saying offer tangible value. Have ideas. Be useful. Think. Pay attention to problems around you and find ways to contribute. Don’t just be the person who shows up, does exactly what they were asked to do and leaves. Become someone people trust to think with them. Because when you consistently provide value, something interesting happens. Your access compounds. The person who gave you one opportunity introduces you to another person. That person brings you into another room. Someone hears an idea from you and remembers you when an opportunity comes up. That’s how it has worked for me several times. So yes, build relationships. But don’t just preserve access with familiarity. Preserve access with value. Offer value and Let it compound for you with time. You are welcome.

IF YOU WANT TO SELL OUT AS A BUSINESS OWNER, STOP PLAYING BY THE RULES. I spent some minutes with the Holy Spirit, and He shared this marketing update with me from Romans 3:20. And it is quite very simple, stop playing by the rules. A lot of business owners still play their business by the books. What is available. What is already being done. What is conventional. What is generally acceptable. What everyone else in their industry is doing. And that’s exactly why many of them struggle to gain attention, draw traffic or even make consistent sales. Because they are doing what is already there. Think about it. You’re in a saturated market where hundreds or thousands of people are selling the same thing: Fashion. Hair. Skincare. Makeup. Food. And you’re selling it the same way everyone else is selling it. Same presentation. Same messaging. Same content. Same offers. Same strategy. You’re playing it safe. How do you want to sell out when you look exactly like everyone else? At some point, you have to ask: What different thing can I do? What can I introduce? What new packaging can I reveal? What strategy can I add? What can I change about the way I present my product so that people can recognize me, remember me, know what I represent and consider me when they are ready to buy? Look at Mrs. @Chioma and the egg business. People have been buying and selling eggs locally for years. But she did something different. She utilized social media to sell it. She positioned eggs differently. She presented the business in a more standardized and recognizable way. There were definitely people who had been selling eggs long before her. But she came in, created a distinct identity around it, and became memorable. Now: You think eggs → Fresh Eggs. Fashion → Veekee James. Hair → Adefunkee. Creators → Salem. These people entered markets where others already existed. They didn’t invent fashion. They didn’t invent hair. They didn’t invent content creation. They didn’t invent eggs. But they found ways to become recognizable within those markets. And that is the part many business owners are missing. You can sell the same product as everyone else and still become the business people remember. But you have to stop hiding inside what is comfortable. Think. What can I do differently? What can I introduce? What can I become known for? What can make someone see my business and immediately know, “This is them”? Because sometimes, the problem isn’t that your market is too saturated. It’s that you haven’t given people a reason to remember you. And if you want answers to that question and a strategy to help make your business better, send me a DM. And there’s another reason nobody remembers you after they say: “I’ll get back to you.” You pitch and vanish into thin air. You don’t have a follow-up system. You don’t stay in front of them. You don’t nurture the relationship. You don’t give them another reason to think about you. You expect one pitch to do the entire job. It doesn’t. Marketing isn’t just getting someone to notice you. It’s giving them a reason to remember you, trust you, consider you and eventually buy from you. So if you’re reading this and thinking, “Spec, I know my business needs to stand out, but I honestly don’t know what I should change,” Send me a DM. Let’s look at it together.

Pay attention to the people you surround yourself with. They can influence how far you're willing to go. Not everyone will understand what you're buildiwng, and that's okay. But be careful of people who always see failure in your ideas before you even take the first step. You need people who can challenge your thinking without making you afraid to try. People who value you, encourage your growth, tell you the truth with love, and support you as you take calculated risks. Your circle doesn't have to agree with every decision you make. But it should include people who genuinely want to see you grow. And because it's Friday, take a moment to reflect on your week. Rest, rewind, learn from what happened, and give yourself the space to return with better focus. Surround yourself with people who support your growth, and give yourself permission to grow at your own pace. Happy Friday. ❤️ What is one thing this week has taught you about yourself?

SOMETIMES, ALL A WOMAN NEEDS IS SOMEONE TO HELP HER SEE CLEARLY. I think about this a lot. There are so many brilliant women walking around with ideas, abilities, dreams and potential but they don’t know what to do with them. They don’t know what direction to take. They don’t know what they’re good at. They don’t know how to position what they know. They don’t know what their next step should be. And sometimes, it’s not because they are lazy. They simply haven’t had someone sit with them and help them see what they’re not seeing. That is one of the reasons I started The Ladies Circle. I know what it feels like to be trying to figure things out while still becoming. To have the dream but not necessarily have the roadmap. To know you have something in you but struggle to articulate exactly what it is or where to start. So when we started the Ladies Circle Clarity Program, I wasn’t interested in giving women another motivational talk. I wanted every woman to leave with: Clarity. Direction. A next step. And something she can actually DO. Then I opened my phone after our session and saw these messages. One woman said: “Speaking with @Spec Edoho just feels different. Like she knows where to dig the oil and pour it on your head.” Another said the session gave her clarity and a clear path for her career. Another said the assignments would push them to put in more effort because they now had someone to hold them accountable. And honestly? THIS is why I do this. Because sometimes the transformation isn’t a woman suddenly becoming successful overnight. Sometimes it’s simply a woman finally being able to say: “Okay. I know what I’m doing next.” And that can change everything. So if you’re a woman currently feeling stuck, confused about your next career/business move, sitting on an idea you don’t know how to turn into something tangible, or simply trying to figure out what direction your life is taking Don’t just keep thinking about it. Get clarity. Send me “CLARITY” in my DM. Let’s sit with what you have, identify what’s unclear, and map out what your next move should look like. You don’t always need more information. Sometimes, you need someone to help you make sense of the information you already have.

A good product or service doesn't sell itself. One of the things people tell themselves is, “I have a good product, so it will sell itself.” But having a good product or offering a valuable service is only part of the process. You also need to know who you're trying to reach and how to position what you offer in front of the right people. You can have a great product and still struggle to make sales if you're presenting it to the wrong audience. The same thing applies to your services. You might be good at what you do, but if you're reaching out to the wrong people or sending messages that don't connect with their needs, getting a response can be difficult. This is why research matters before sending that cold DM. Whether you're trying to sell a product or get clients for your services, you need to understand who you're reaching out to and how your offer can help them. That's what our Cold DM Outreach Master Kit is designed to help you learn. If you're ready to stop sending random messages and start approaching potential customers or clients with more understanding, check comments for the link.

If you are a first daughter, you need to read this. You need to succeed in this life. There’s no other option than success for you. And this is not that the post where I’ll remind you that you have people to take care of, and that’s the reason you should succeed. No! You need to succeed for your own self. Every other person is just additional, but you need to first of all, do everything to give yourself a good life. I am a first daughter and more so, the first child and I sat myself down in 2021, and gave myself huge futuristic goals which I am living in most of them already. One of those goals was to give myself a good life first and be proud of my existence. You have to save yourself first before you start saving others. One of the ladies in my community sent me this message and it broke me. ‘I want to live as a first daughter who is ambitious’. Atleast if I can even be proud of my existence as the eldest, then maybe, the judging eyes would stop. For me, it first started with going to school. Then progressed to me learning a skill last year. And things changed. I began to feel more alive. You need to make that choice to invest in yourself, even if it’s using your last money or borrowing to purchase that course. She bought my client acquisition MasterKit and I would be holding her hands intentionally till she gets her first client. You have a skill and you are not earning from it? You are the reason I created this Masterkit Because I don’t want you to just know how to do something with your skill, I want you to make money from it repeatedly. How to find clients with AI. How to send out Cold DMs and Emails How to turn the skill into services. How to work with brands. How to market your content. How to sell your skill. And how to actually building your building and selling out promo sales. If you’ve been wanting to learn Client Acquisition properly and understand how to turn these skills real jobs and money, the link is in my comment.
