Now seems as good as time as any to announce the Official Riftbound wiki! The team has been working hard this past month or so catching and building out the League wiki's Riftbound portal. Some pages are still WIP and not built out yet, but we have every card since Origins added! Huge thanks to @TrickJarrett for all the support for this endeavor.

I love Orianna blue-the high level concept here is Orianna’s wonder and desire to understand the dance of the wind up ballerina-while in her alt art we reverse the perspective and she is now the wind up ballerina come to life in a snow globe.

I mean, we can’t have a music set without Glitterbomb Ziggs! I really felt this skin a)tied into the music wrapper and b) would look so sick foiled because it has so many cool patterns and visual noise.

Mordekaiser is super tricky to get into vertical card format because he’s very wide and he’s very large. The King Of Clubs skin is an oldie but I thought how fun it would be to do Mordekaiser dominating a card game in his Dominating Alt and in a card game. (I think he cheats)😂

As we are revealing set 5 I’ll give some high level thoughts. We have a bunch of new battlefields, here is Mt Targon and we see the stars shape into Aurelion Sol’s hand so you get his immense size in this world.

Morning! Thanks everyone for coming to #rqla over the weekend, I love all the HS questions. Heartsteel in Riftbound is the first time we made something JUST for RB, and a lot of people had to collaborate to make this happen. To see fan art of even the concept art(!) I am 🤯

Hm I can’t find it but someone asked for more tidbits. When designing the HS cards, we actually approached it like a photoshoot and moodboarded fashion direction for each boy like a stylist. So EZ was the most free to design for-fun, bubbly, energetic, experimental.

A favorite I created from earlier this year, with creative input from @twlembke , Kimberly Koszoru, and of course @BrandonMeier . This piece helped define the look of this theme, with the final showdown idea carrying over into the cinematic “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight.”

K’Sante is probably the most responsible of the group (probably why he gets along well with Yone). He’s the one that goes with the flow the most and he carries himself with a kind of regal quality, something we wanted to convey with his fashion. Clothes never wear K’Sante.

For Aphelios, we wanted to make his fashion a little louder, because he’s so quiet. So we added words to his pants to speak for him-that his slightly aloof personality actually hides his true nature which is a little bolder than his exterior shows.

I wonder if some people were surprised by Sett’s fashion in his card because while he’s big and a little intimidating, he actually has a very big heart and is very playful and easily excited.

Yone really loves his coffee. Like REALLY. It’s because wrangling the boys to do music is like wrangling cats.

Kayn took his clothes from the photo shoot and promptly ruined them by washing them in regular laundry (and ruined the machine too) 😂

One thing I forgot to mention in the panel on Fri-we talked about the plushie most likely being a handmade gift from a fan. Since HS is still up and coming, something like this from a fan would be a thing EZ cherishes. It just was too much visual noise under the card text box.
