SHOOTING: 3:00am -East side of Yonge St north of Steeles Ave W, Richmond Hill Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. at a commercial property on the east side of Yonge Street, north of Steeles Avenue West. The premise shows evidence of gunfire directed at the building. The building was unoccupied at the time of the incident. There were no reported injuries. Damage is limited to property. No suspect information is being released at this time. Officers from the #CaledonOPP continue to conduct traffic enforcement across the Town of Caledon, helping to keep motorists safe. 1️⃣ A 27-year-old from Caledon was charged with driving a tow truck with equipment not in good working order and driving a tow truck with towed vehicle not secured as required. In addition, the associated company operating out of Caledon was charged with permitting a tow truck to operate with equipment not in good working order, as well as permitting a tow truck to operate with towed vehicle not secured as required. The tow truck was removed from service as a result of these violations. 2️⃣ A 48-year-old from Caledon was charged with no brake lights, improper brakes on trailer, and improper means of attachment. The OPP remains committed to making our roads a safer place through enforcement and public education.
