A big part of why the double big lineups from the Wizards haven't been successful is just a lack of skill versatility
the Mobley/Allen, Chet/IHart duos are good because they are uniquely talented pairings. Our bigs lack one or other skills to make shit really shake.

What I do mind is:
-getting outhustled / out-rebounded
-lackadaisical energy
-failing to make adjustments
-consistent mistakes (fouls/turnovers)
-terrible shot selection (long middies)
-not getting back on defense
-being soft
-bad rotations
All avoidable.

I understand why last night was frustrating for Wizards fans. But the sky hasn’t fallen before AJ Dybantsa has even played a game.
Not saying he magically fixes things, but this is what you hope develops into a franchise guy. His development is the top priority.

if the wizards want in anyway be taken remotely seriously we need a statement win, sure its nice to beat chicago & the bucks but these are 2 teams that might combine for less than 40 wins. We need a proper big win against a contender/even pretender, and i could see it vs the cavs

This is a problem I’m having with them as well.
At some point, we’ll need to step into the new era & start shooting threes to be ultra competitive. Either that or everybody has to touch paint regularly, which is unrealistic lol
