The man behind Spider-Man’s beloved Uncle Ben, Cliff Robertson, passed away 15 years ago, he would've turned 103 today 🎂 Cliff Robertson built a remarkable career that stretched across more than five decades, becoming known for performances that ranged from intimate drama to war films, political thrillers, television, and blockbuster superhero movies. He earned some of the greatest acclaim of his career as Charly Gordon in Charly, a deeply emotional performance that won him the Academy Award for Best Actor. Decades later, Robertson reached an entirely new generation as Ben Parker, Uncle Ben, in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, bringing warmth and sincerity to the man whose values helped shape Peter Parker into a hero. Some of his most notable roles include: • Ben Parker / Uncle Ben (Spider-Man / Spider-Man 2 / Spider-Man 3) • Charly Gordon (Charly) • Lt. John F. Kennedy (PT 109) • J. Higgins (Three Days of the Condor) • President Adam (Escape from L.A.) • Shame (Batman) • Hugh Hefner (Star 80) • Joe Cantwell (The Best Man) • Michael Courtland (Obsession) • Wing Commander Roy Grant (633 Squadron) • Major Alan Crown (The Devil’s Brigade) • Tolly Devlin (Underworld U.S.A.) • The Big Kahuna (Gidget) • George Milton (Of Mice and Men) • Dr. John Paul Otis (The Interns) • Alan Benson (Picnic) and many more From his Oscar-winning dramatic work to the quiet wisdom he brought to Uncle Ben, Robertson left behind a body of work that continues to resonate with movie and television audiences. Michael Jackson tried to warn us

Michael Jackson siempre nos lo advirtió, pero no le hicimos caso.

We say goodbye to another legend today 😔 Rest in peace to Hikaru Kurosaki, our eternal Jaspion 🤍 Japanese actor, singer, and stunt performer Hikaru Kurosaki has passed away at the age of 64. For tokusatsu fans around the world, especially in Brazil and Latin America, he will always be remembered as the hero who brought Jaspion to life. Kurosaki became a defining face of 1980s tokusatsu through Toei’s Kyoju Tokuso Juspion, known to many fans as The Fantastic Jaspion. His athletic screen presence, martial arts background, and expressive performance helped turn the space hero into one of the most beloved figures in the Metal Hero era. Before becoming Jaspion, Kurosaki trained through the legendary Japan Action Club, the action troupe founded by Sonny Chiba. He also worked in early stunt and suit roles, including projects like Japan’s 1978 Spider-Man, Battle Fever J, and Denshi Sentai Denjiman, before stepping into the role that would make him a tokusatsu icon. After leaving the entertainment industry in the 1990s, Kurosaki chose a quieter life in Okinawa, where he became part of the diving community and shared his love for the ocean. For many fans, Jaspion was more than a TV hero. He was a childhood memory, a symbol of courage, and one of the characters who helped open the door for generations of fans to Japanese tokusatsu and anime culture. Thank you for everything, Hikaru Kurosaki. Rest in peace, legend 💔
