No, itβs not Christian at all. Fallen men who twist or abuse Scripture to control their wives are not modeling Godβs design for a Christian husband. Christ is the model. He served, sacrificed, loved & ultimately laid down His life for His bride. Biblical headship should look like Christ, not domination. Control & oppression are distortions of biblical Christianity, not examples of it. Iβve been married to my husband for almost 32 years, & I can tell you from experience that the closer he walks with Christ, the better he loves & treats me along with everyone else in his life. Christlike leadership doesnβt make a man more controlling. It makes him more loving, sacrificial, patient & willing to serve.

There is literally NO reason to think Jesus was made up.
There is literally NO reason to think Jesus wasnβt actually crucified.
There is literally no reason to think Jesus was never believed to be God by His followers after His resurrection that had eye witness testimonies.
This is known as the Alexamenos graffito, a drawing of the crucifixion of Christ that dates back to somewhere between the 1st and 2nd centuries.Β
It was intended to mock a Christian named Alexamenos for worshiping Jesus. It's a depiction of Christ with the head of a donkey nailed to a cross. The Romans depicted Jesus as a donkey as a way of insulting Christians.Β
The mocker didn't know when he drew the graffiti on the wall that he would be providing evidence that would be seen almost 2000 years later, proving three things.Β
1.) Jesus existed.
2.) He was crucified on the cross.Β
3.) Christians believed Jesus was God.
The Greek inscription translates to βAlexamenos worships God.β

So many people automatically assume that when we say believers arenβt under the Law, weβre teaching lawlessness. Paul even anticipated that objection in Romans 6, but that still doesnβt settle it in their mind. π€·ββοΈ

If social media is a source of temptation or pain, stay off it. That applies to men & women. A Christian woman has the same Holy Spirit her husband does. Her husband isnβt her Holy Spirit. Iβve always encouraged my sons to find a wife who loves the Lord more than she loves them. Marry someone whose first loyalty is to Christ, & you wonβt need to treat her like a child who has to be constantly supervised.
