Years before September 11, he developed evacuation procedures for thousands of Morgan Stanley employees at the World Trade Center and insisted they practice them. When the unimaginable happened, that preparation became lifesaving. Rescorla helped lead thousands toward safety, then went back upstairs to search for those who remained. He never came back down. Today we remember Rick Rescorla and every life lost on September 11, 2001. Their courage, sacrifice and memory endure. Never Forget.
