Due to a Flight Interruption at Gatwick airport, we are gutted to let all ticket holders for tonight's (8/9/2026) @Jamesnaughtie - at 7:30PM has been cancelled.

Before the Summer holidays we invited P5 & P6 pupils from Tain ASG to take part in this years school art competition and on Saturday 5th Sept we held our Pro-Loco event on Balnagown Estate . Our team have been blown away the number of participants across both competitions.

What just happened?
The launch of the 2026 Festival brochure that’s what! 38 volunteers gathered to have a first peak at this years programme of events and collect bundles of brochures and posters to begin distributing. Pick up your copy across Highland venues in the coming days

Our band of volunteers will be at Tain Market from 10 am to 2 pm this Saturday 18th July. Come along say hello and pick up your holiday read(s). No fixed prices, choose then pay a donation all income is re-invested into the annual festival.

It's official the St Duthac Book & Arts Festival is officially recognised as part of Highland Culture.
On a recent visit to the newly re-furbished Inverness Castle we were delighted to see our 2021 brochure on display alongside Nairn Book Festival and Dornoch Fibre Festival.

On Sunday 8th March we marked St Duthac Day with our first event of 2026 and welcomed Scottish author Shona Maclean aka SG Maclean to speak to a full house about her latest book the Cromarty Library Circle.

Congratulations to former TRA student and 2023 festival artist, Finn Robinson, who has a new solo exhibition entitled Caught in the Act at Horsepower Art Gallery in Glasgow until 1st March .
