We are putting up an XRPL node which is going to take me a little time, while also configuring XRPLAnalytics.io API to work with a wider variety of ledger intelligence. Posting XRPL Network and ETF data here is going to be pretty quiet here for a couple of weeks as this work is done, @LSChevy6768 starts a new job and takes a family trip cross-country. Expect more data and engagement around the third week of August, unless something dramatic happens in the meantime. Simplified explanation of Coldcard issue:
Wallet secret generation is like "pick a number between 1 & 100 million" (number is much much inconceivably bigger)
Pick the same number & get the same seed
ColdCard had a bug causing it to instead generate between 1 & 100
Someone figured this out, so they can much more easily guess all generated secrets
Coldcard just lost ~$38M (ongoing, increasing) because a 2021 code change quietly swapped their hardware RNG call for a broken software path, and nobody caught it for five years. Wallet looked secure. Marketing said secure. The actual entropy going into key generation wasn't.
