But please tell me again how the referees are in the Chiefs' back pocket.

The way Chiefs fans are reacting, they EXPECTED the referees to be there. It was penalty, properly called, and KC fans are apoplectic.

Rex Ryan joins the growing list of national media members who are criticizing the false start that wiped out a potential game winning #Chiefs TD. Should KC have been able to get in the end zone with multiple plays from the 1 yard line? Of course, but this penalty impacted the game in immeasurable ways. As a result, this is the #Broncos division until proven otherwise. - @GetUpESPN

Rex is wrong, pure and simple.

Whether it was a false start or not, the narrative that the Chiefs get all of the calls has been dead for years now. Anybody who says otherwise doesn’t watch the games or simply has a narrative to push. I think it’s clear the NFL has made a point to over-scrutinize the Chiefs
Should Jaylon Moore have been called for a false start on this play? 🤔

"Over-scrutinize"? It was an obvious false start, properly called. Nothing "extra" about it.

The Chiefs HAVE to win 3 of the next 4.

The correct call was made. Move on.

Let me double up, when they were deciding if K9 fumbled on that final drive they kept the clock running and never fixed it to the appropriate time and let it start up again on the final ruling. Was I the only one who noticed? #chiefskingdom

The call on the field was down by contact. End of play. Next.

Did the refs get it right with the false start call on 4th and goal? @GronkandJules @RobGronkowski @Edelman11

Which call is he referencing? Can't be the false start. Check the time.

This was early in the game, not in the 4th quarter. How do I know? Check the time stamp.

Jim Nantz and JJ Watt address my question -- did the Chiefs know it was fourth-and-inches and not fourth-and-2? The officials moved the line of scrimmage shortly before the snap, and the Chiefs didn't get time to respond. Totally changes the decision-making.

Call a timeout, then. They had one.

BS “false start” call and an uncalled horse collar tackle to give the game to the Broncos. What absolute garbage officiating.

Absolutely a false start. Chiefs just didn't get the job done.

November 2, 2016: The Foul Ball⚾️ 🔟 years ago today Jason Kipnis almost changes our lives forever. 3.2 seconds of pure Cleveland bliss. For me, this was a true out-of-body experience that happened in slow motion. So many feelings went through my head in those brief 3.2 seconds - thought we had pulled off 2 🏆’s (Cavs) in 1 year I’ll remember that feeling forever. I love ya Cleveland. #Cleveland #TheShotHeardRoundMyLivingRoom

If you wanna crown Denver then crown their ass. They are not an impressive team. And the rest of their schedule isn’t a cake walk, especially with that QB and offense.

They haven't won anything yet. They simply kept the #Chiefs from locking up the division halfway through the season.
29
The point is that it was so minuscule and had no effect on the play whatsoever. They chose to call that on a game winning play. If it were the reverse, everyone would be crying their eyes out, saying it was rigged for the Chiefs. I forgot it's rigged only if the Chiefs win.

Look cry and complain all you want. Your team put itself in that position. 15 unanswered points. If Mahomes doesn't take a massive sack on 3rd down, Butker probably makes the earlier field goal, you win on a 4th and goal field goal kick. Butker makes one of the missed field goals you win. Your team put itself in a position where one play could change the outcome, that's on them, not denver, not the refs, not anyone else. Crying about it makes you seem like a really sore loser.

Butker missed well to the right. It wasn't a question of distance.
