StandWithUs Lawyers Help Bring About Vote Recommending Suspension of APA Commission's Recognition for Failure to Monitor Antisemitism Attorneys from StandWithUs Saidoff Law provided crucial public comment before a federal committee looking into the failure of the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Commission on Accreditation to monitor antisemitism within its accredited programs. Yael Lerman, Carly Gammill, Gadi Dotz, Jaclyn Clark and Michael Scheinman testified that Jewish students in an APA-accredited clinical psychology doctoral program at George Washington University raised concerns about antisemitism within the program and were then placed on remediation under APA standards, while the APA Commission, despite visiting and reviewing the program, failed to discover these serious issues. Following this testimony, the committee noted the crucial help StandWithUs' comments provided and voted to recommend that the Department of Education suspend the Commission’s federal recognition for 12 months. Following the declaration of the State of Israel in 1948, Yemenite Jews faced continuous violence and persecution in Yemen, leading to 49,000 Yemenite Jews being brought home to Israel on 380 different flights between June 1949 and September 1950. Today, these Yemenite Jews and their descendants are an instrumental part of Israel's society. 🇮🇱

Meet Miracle.
