This afternoon the Democrat-Gazette reported finding internal emails stating the Franklin county
Mega prison disaster has been cancelled. Now the state is looking into expanding other facilities.
This is exactly what I have been saying for decades. Unfortunately for the citizens of Arkansas, Gov. Sanders and Senator Bart Hester mislead the people of Arkansas by pushing a financial disaster and a disaster plan that would not make Arkansans safer.
As President Truman said the buck stops here. Governor Sanders and Senator Hester are woefully incompetent.
I already have a financially responsible plan that benefit all Arkansans not just political profiteers.

A judge ruled that Arkansas’s delayed special election for Senate District 26 violates constitutional rights. Gov. Sanders and AG Griffin say they’ll appeal the decision, defending the June 2026 date as cost-effective and lawful.
“Governor Sanders is confident that on appeal, the law clearly giving the Governor the authority to set special elections will be upheld and ultimately save taxpayer dollars and ensure the election is free, fair, and secure,” Sanders’ spokesperson Sam Dubke said in a statement.
“I am disappointed by the ruling and plan to appeal,” Griffin said via a spokesperson.

Whatever our attorney general’s opinion, the dates set for these special elections are unacceptable. The general rule for any governor, any party, any district, should be, “How quickly can we restore representation?”

#ARPX 🚨 Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin’s office has filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit challenging the timing of the Senate District 26 special election.
The state argues Gov. Sanders acted within her legal authority in setting the June 6, 2026 date, calling claims of wrongdoing “unsupported.”
The brief also cites sovereign immunity, saying courts can’t overrule the Governor’s discretion on election timing.
Shelby's attorney, Jennifer Sanderfer stated in response: "I'm reviewing the Governor’s filings, and will respond in due time directly to the Court.”

Vanir said prison test wells = 15–16 GPM & 5 GPM. Reality: Arkansas Dept. of Agri reports= 2 GPM & 10 GPH. Typical home needs 6–12 GPM. Numbers don’t lie. Trust the California Vanir dudes yet? No adequate water source; say no to the prison!
