The results we attained from ecdsa.fail matter. But what it says about who gets to contribute to frontier research and how breakthroughs emerge may matter more. Open Autoresearch turns difficult research into something people can watch, understand, and increasingly participate in. AI changes what interested outsiders can do. ecdsa.fail is one example, and there will be plenty more.
