A tiny female dog, reduced to nothing but skin and bones, with almost nothing left on her body. She was found in a rural area of Thailand just two days before New Year’s Eve. No one could understand how she was still breathing. When Beth and her boyfriend received Sena from the veterinary clinic, they had prepared themselves mentally, yet they were still shocked. They thought she would only survive a few more days. Beth even asked herself: “Am I being cruel by trying to keep her alive?” The first hours were filled with tears. Then, a few days later, a miracle happened. Sena’s tail started wagging. Just a small wag, but it was enough for Beth to understand: she wanted to live. She was fighting. After only one week, her fur began to grow back. Sena grew stronger day by day, more playful, learning to ask for belly rubs, running to the sofa and wagging her tail nonstop. From a creature that had nearly given up, she became a fluffy dog with bright eyes and full of life. What struck me most was not only the physical transformation. It was the way such a fragile being still held on to such a fierce will to live. In the animal world, this is not rare. Many animals that are abandoned, starved, or severely injured still try to survive until the very last moment. They do not complain. They do not give up easily. All they need is one small chance: a meal, a shelter, a gentle hand, to begin again. Sena is the clearest proof. When she received proper care and genuine love, her body recovered at an astonishing speed. Love and attention do not only heal physical wounds; they also awaken the desire to live within. Beth said she would do it all over again in a heartbeat, no matter how painful the process was. Looking at Sena today, with her thick fur, bright eyes, happy and trusting, I understand why. Because sometimes, saving a life is not only about pulling it back from death. It is about giving it back the right to truly live: to run, to wag its tail, to be loved without fear. Sena is not just a rescued dog. She is a reminder that in the animal world, the will to live is always stronger than we imagine. And all it takes is one person willing to stop, to open their heart, for a living being that seemed beyond hope to start over once more ❤️

How low have we gone to talk about going to "war" with one of our greatest allies, Canada? This is beyond ignorant. Mocking Canada's military and its healthcare system while threatening a trade war with a country that has stood beside us for over a century is not strength, it's compromising and isolating our own nation. And every time we isolate ourselves from our allies, there's only one group who benefits: our enemies. At this point it doesn't look like ignorance. It looks like design.

A couple of thoughts on Natalie Harp. First, I'm so glad that people on our side are concerned about her and her mental health. It's because we have hearts and empathy and we aren't sociopaths. We're good people, and I love that about us. But I think we are also right to be angry. Natalie Harp is a government employee, paid by tax dollars and accountable to the people. She’s 35, and while it seems her emotional growth may have been stunted at a younger age by trauma, there are millions of us who can say the same, but none of us are propping up a murderous dictator. There are also national security concerns. She spent a year at the White House without clearance - and as a gatekeeper to Trump - she’s a vulnerable entry point for enemies. That's especially bad since Donald is also a useful idiot. She’s clearly been hurt. Perhaps by a cult or an abuser, and hurt people hurt people. But at some point, the bad acts can’t be legally or politically tolerated. That’s why we put Ghislaine Maxwell - who started out a s a victim - in prison for sex trafficking. Natalie Harp’s job is to keep Trump happy so he can focus on being a brutal autocrat. She's a taxpayer-funded enabler. Reporting on her is no different than reporting on Leavitt or Bondi. She's not off-limits. And she has faster access to quality mental health care than any of us.

Trump has added $11.6 trillion to the debt across his two terms combined, $7.8 trillion in his first term after inheriting a great growing economy from Obama, another $3.8 trillion so far in his second with nothing to show for. That's more than any president in American history. And what Biden inherited wasn't his making. 40% of what Biden added was due to Trump handing him the worst economy in a century, an economic free fall from COVID, in January 2021. What Obama inherited from Bush wasn't his making either, a housing collapse and two unfunded wars from the Bush administration. Republicans have driven the largest share of America's debt, and Trump personally bears more responsibility than any single president alive. Stop lying to the American people. Stop blaming Biden.

Trump announced they are importing a bunch of foreign beef (with your tax dollars) and then selling it at a 25% loss to appease the consumers before the midterms. Not only is that communism, it undercuts American beef producers. Why they still support Trump I'll never understand
