The people are singing “Bibi Melech Yisrael, chai, chai v’kayem” (Bibi, King of Israel, live forever) which is a traditional upbeat Jewish folk song usually about King David. The people of Israel absolutely love Bibi, and have every reason to feel the way they do.

Benjamin Netanyahu is at the Air Force base today, sending a warning to our enemies: “We have eliminated over a hundred terrorists in Gaza. I am sending a message: Do not mess with us, not now and not ever. Because our long arm will reach you at any time and in any place.”

I see my prayer answered all the time. Sometimes it takes a little while. But the word of God is a hammer 🔨 that never fails to break the rock.

If Jesus returned to Jerusalem today, immediately intense controversy would arise over the question of whether this is or is not really Him. How would anyone know? His inner circle of talmidim (disciples) asked the same question: Mat 24:3: “As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, His talmidim came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen? What will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” Yeshua explained that there would be many false versions of Himself. Many false ideas about who He is. And it would deceive the nations and cause wars and confusion about Him. He continued: Mat. 24:24: “For false christs and false prophets will rise up and show great signs and wonders so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen.” Matthew 24:24. I’m going to estimate that at least 1/3 of the “Christian” world has a false idea of who Jesus is. If He were to return today, a great host from every nation under the sun would run to Him or be taken up or however it’s going to work. These are the true host of redeemed souls from the nations. However, also multitudes of other supposed “Christians” would flat out reject Him. Why? Won’t he show the signs when he comes down out of the sky with angels in their chariots? Supernatural signs and wonders could be attributed to the antichrist. In fact, it’s plain to see on any given day on social media that many who identify as “Christians” and claim to be expecting Jesus’ return would reject a returned Jesus on the ground that He is too Jewish and pro-Israel. They say the antichrist is a Jew. I doubt that, but their warped belief is so firm that when the Jewish Messiah returns, they are ready to proclaim Him to be the antichrist. To them, Jesus has to be an unmitigated condemner of Jewish people and of Israel. Jesus in their mind just can’t be a Jew who comes (among other things) to save Jewish people and to vindicate Israel. They’d rather go to hell than believe that. Ok, then. Therefore, as He said, many will hear him say, “Get away from me, you workers of iniquity, I never knew you.” Mat 7:23. I don’t wish Hell on anyone (with a few exceptions). But going through life as a “Christian” full of Jew-hatred is one way to get there. Such people will surely miss the boat. The boat is Yeshua. They will say, not that boat. He will say, Shalom.

Jew haters are never good people. Remember that.

To me, it’s obvious that the “synagogue of Satan” is about replacement theology. People who “say they are Jews, but they are not.” So I asked Yeshua Himself. And this is what He told me:

“Christians” who reject Zionism always look to justify their claim by pointing out the alleged sins of the Jewish people. We are not a perfect people. No one is. Some people are far worse than others. The Jews are good people overall. But not worthy to be God’s people. No one is. But in the final analysis, God chose one people to be his own people. Not on merit. But based on a promise made to the patriarchs of whom the Jews are the physical descendants. “Chosen” means when He came as the Messiah and Savior of Mankind, He came as a Jew. Yeshua is one of us. A fellow Jew. Who came for all people who will put their trust in Him. The Jews were the first to believe. We were the people who brought the good news to the Gentiles. Then they overwhelmed us and cast us out of their assemblies. They condemned us and vilified us. I’m talking about Jewish believers. The ones who brought the gospel to begin with. They distorted the whole idea of who Jesus is, not to mention the apostles and everyone else who was first. When it became clear that the Gentiles who were putting their faith in the Jewish Messiah were to be included into the Covenant family as fellow heirs with the descendants of Jacob, the Scripture warned the Gentiles not to boast and think themselves more worthy than others. And remember the root of the tree is the Jewish people. Many have heeded that word but many others have not. Today, with the rebirth of the Jewish State, Yeshua’s own homeland, the big controversy in the world is regarding Israel. “Christians” who reject Zionism would cut the root out from under the tree. This is both sinful and stupid. It’s the root that supports the branches. Not the other way around. Branches can be broken off and the tree will be just fine without some. Not so with the root. Rom. 11:18: “Do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you.” Shalom.
