Four #Seedance2.5 generations: a 30-second kitchen oner, an 18-second walk down the garden, then the reveal split into two short shots. 15 reference plates: @midjourney for faces, Nano Banana Pro for turnarounds, wardrobe and empty environments.
The prompts described low camera height, tungsten practicals, shallow depth of field and slow weighted moves, and it came back looking like the 1980s. I think these films are just well represented in the training data.

Stepping out of character here because this one matters.
Last year, after the passing of Manchán Magan, I put up a post urging men to get the PSA test. One man approached me one morning to tell me he's still here because of it. That's why it's worth doing.
A lot of men fear getting checked because of the finger. But the modern PSA test is a simple blood test, which I show you here. No finger up the bum. Just a quick sample.
1 in 6 of us will get this in our lifetime. Caught early, it's very treatable. Caught late, it's a different story.

The more I use AI for product development, the more I'm starting to realize that most of the debate about this technology is happening amongst folks who aren't using it to build.
Once you spend any amount of time with it, I don't understand how you can feasibly conclude that we aren't standing at the precipice of one of the biggest stepwise functions in the history of software products.
I'm not saying that AI can turn some hobbyist into a world-class software engineer, but the productivity and speed gains are truly unbelievable.
If you find yourself struggling to pick a side in this ongoing discussion, my suggestion would be to go chase an idea and build something. I'm guessing you'll be totally flabbergasted.

50 years ago today, NASA's first space shuttle voyaged out of the Rockwell facility in Palmdale for its public unveiling! Hundreds of invited guests, including Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and several members of the Star Trek original series cast joined in the first orbiter's rollout celebrations.
NASA had originally planned for the orbiter to be named Constitution and scheduled for the rollout for Constitution Day. But President Gerald Ford, after receiving letters from thousands of Trekkies, directed NASA to name the shuttle Enterprise after the fictional starship.
