Recognise the reference? I killed and stole from 100s of them to get 99x Earth Mallet and 99x Gigas Armlet for my perfect inventory in the original game. 😅
Gigas is a homage to a random encounter enemy from the original Final Fantasy VII. Players who recognize the reference might get a little smile out of it. - ギーガスは、オリジナル『FFVII』でランダムエンカウントするモンスターのオマージュです。気付いた方には、少しニヤッとしていただけたかもしれません。 #FF7R

Nothing will ever beat Wesker still wearing his sunglasses for the laboratory staff photo from the original game. 😎

Resident Evil Movie Review The words Raccoon City and Umbrella Corporation are said a few times during the movie and they are the only things that suggest its stated source material. Throwing in random visual references to a Typewriter, First Aid Sprays and Padlocks does not make a Resident Evil movie. What you get instead is a body horror movie featuring mutants out of an entirely different franchise, a nonsensical setting and a host of "characters" that make such bafflingly stupid decisions, that you feel nothing when they inevitably get killed by their own stupidity. All wrapped up with frequent poor attempts at humour and an ending that's so bizarre and out of place, even in this nonsense movie, that you end up wondering what even was the point of following this character's journey. If you think that this is a good Resident Evil adaptation or even a good video game adaptation. Then you need to actually play Resident Evil and realise that this movie isn't even attempting to be Resident Evil or any kind of video game movie.

It's honestly amazing to see the Spider-Man '94 cliffhanger officially resolved after 30 years, by none other than the original lead screenwriter. It's a shame that it never got an animated sequel series but at least we will finally get a resolution to its cliffhanger ending.
I'm thrilled to announce that with the upcoming Spider-Man '94 Annual #1, I will be returning to the world of Spider-Man. After 30 years, I'm finally getting to resolve the ending of my iconic animated series and tell the story of Peter finding Mary Jane. I want to thank everyone involved at Marvel for making this possible, especially my editor, Danny Khazem. I was given free rein to tell the story that I've always wanted to tell, and it has been a real blast!

This is actually a perfect example of the issue with including auto-levelling, Streamlined Progression, in-game cheats, etc... In modern games. If everybody just defeated Emerald Weapon using cheats back in 1997. Then this superboss encounter would have never become so iconic.
Hands up if you beat this guy!

Do you know which boss encounter that I remember most from the original game? Demons Gate. Do you know which boss encounter that I would forget, if it never presented a challenge to me? Video game memories and experiences are built on overcoming the challenges within them.
Naoki Hamaguchi says FF7 Revelation will have an option at a certain point in the game to automatically raise your characters level to to recommended level to progress for those that only want to play the main story. He says he got a lot of feedback from players only wanting to play the main story in Rebirth and skip the side content, that they were under leveled and struggled. He says he wants players who want to skip the open-world experience to have a similar linear story driven experience to FF7 Remake so they will include an option that pops up at a certain point asking "Do you want to automatically raise the level to the recommended level?" He says players that don't want to explore the open world and just want to play the main story can select the option to automatically adjust the level. piped.video/watch?v=G5S0weOK…

Oh no! More time to play Final Fantasy VII Revelation! 😱 In all seriousness, I am really looking forward to Resident Evil Veronica but it just wouldn't compete with Revelation for me. So a later release away from Revelation would give me much more time to play it at launch.
(1/2) Oh boy, well I've heard it three times from three different people now, so I guess I have potentially bad news to report on Resident Evil Veronica. There is a high chance it might've slipped into a Fall 2027 release. I trust the people I've heard this from, I haven't heard

Then just play Final Fantasy VII again. I regularly play both Final Fantasy VII and Remake/Rebirth, realising that the original game and the Remake Trilogy offer me different things. And both doing those things exceptionally well that they can be enjoyed in their own right.
I just wanted the same game. Same story. Same turn-based battle system. Same areas. Slightly better graphics. Was that so much to ask?

Quality aside, my main issue with the Revelation Collector’s Edition statue was that they are just doing statues of Cloud and Sephiroth again. Which we already got with Remake and Rebirth. Personally, I wanted something more unique and instead be a scale model of the Highwind.
over 300 bucks for a tiny collector statue that looks like a bootleg oh man oh man

Wrong game being depicted and didn’t even spell LittleBigPlanet correctly. 🤦‍♂️ At least we can all agree that it was a Game of the Year though. ❤️

I always had her being the character to do the piano minigame in Rebirth anyway. It just makes more sense for her to be the focus, since she’s the one that had childhood piano lessons.
Naoki Hamaguchi says Final Fantasy VII Revelation will have an expanded piano mini-game where you can learn more about Tifa! “In Rebirth, there was a piano mini-game. This time around, that’s been greatly expanded, and it now contains information related to Tifa. You can learn more about Tifa by playing this Piano game.” videogameschronicle.com/feat…

Anybody want to tell GameSpot what's wrong with using that particular key art when publishing a post about Media Molecule?
LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule is reportedly working on a social-sim style game in the vein of Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, with a potential reveal in 2027.

Also, if you're going to crop out any character, you choose Toggle, not Swoop.

I genuinely have no insight into what Media Molecule are currently working on, so I'm speaking 100% as a fan. However the social aspect of LittleBigPlanet is probably the biggest thing that I would have liked to have seen expanded someday. Our telemetry data showed that social hub and roleplaying levels were among our most popular community levels (it's precisely why they got a dedicated category when I introduced Genres to the Community Menu). So I really would have liked a future game in the series to have a proper social space developed in-game for player avatars to meet, greet and socialise. Before heading off to LittleBigPlanet together to see what community levels and creations awaited them there. ❤️

I will always miss working on LittleBigPlanet and with its wonderful community. ❤️ And it's so amazing that I still receive messages from community members asking how I am and what I will be working on next. Whatever that game may be. I hope it's something that you all enjoy.
