But something keeps pulling me back:
the art, the people, the experimentation, the internet weirdness of it all.
Starting to create again.
Slowly.

My FIRST back-to-back buy of the same collection… and of course it had to be JPEG FRENS.
I got to meet a lot more Frens today and lemme tell you…
This is starting to feel like a REAL community forming. 🤝🔥
The more I study this collection, the more personal it feels.
A lot of the Frens have little quotes like the one below that are actually relatable, and the trait depth is CRAZY.
So many of them feel completely different from one another that it almost feels like a collection of 1/1s.
I’m convinced there’s a Fren for EVERYONE.
But there’s something else coming that I don’t think enough people fully understand yet…
🔥 Up to 48% of the collection will eventually be BURNED.
That means almost HALF of the supply will disappear forever.
Think about that.
If there’s a Fren you absolutely love, there’s a chance it could eventually be gone for good.
Scarcity + collectors not wanting to lose their favorites = things could get VERY interesting. 👀

JPEG Frens is a BRAND NEW NFT collection that completely sold out yesterday before the mint even went public. 🤯
And man… I can’t even explain the feeling I got the first time I saw this art.
It’s quirky. Creative. Nostalgic. Weird in the BEST way possible.
Every NFT feels genuinely unique, and you can tell the team put an insane amount of effort into the traits and designs.
The art immediately reminded me of Garbage Pail Kids — that legendary card collection from the 80s. If you’ve never seen them before, look them up… they were AMAZING. 😂🔥
But the art isn’t the only thing that caught my attention.
One of the coolest upcoming features is The Forge. ⚒️
Once it goes live, holders will be able to burn a certain number of JPEG Frens in exchange for a new, rarer NFT.
And apparently, up to 48% of the entire collection could potentially be burned. 👀
That’s HUGE.
Scarcity can play a massive role in how collectors perceive value, and a burn mechanic like this could make the remaining supply even more interesting over time.
And that’s just one piece of what they’re building.
They’ve also teased The Workshop and plenty more on the roadmap. Their website is seriously worth checking out.
