April -> September full rebuild. New turbopump, new test stand, new controller. The run today left a lot to be desired but I did get some data. More work needed before starting the MCC build. rpm graphs made from raw data sent over bluetooth sampled every 100ms:
The second full test run of my cryogenic turbopump assembly. This time, with a proper pre-chill and better tank pressurization. I now have enough data to rule out some problems but confirm others. I need to make some decisions and go through what I've learned in detail.

Nations have more resources and capabilities than private companies. National goals for space should be greater than those of a private company. Don't target "domestic launch capacity" target endless prosperity from multiple off-world industrial hubs and population centres

This really shouldn't go to SpaceX or Blue Origin because they really don't need the help. It also shouldn't go to Rocket Lab because they chose to build a vehicle too small. This should probably go to Relativity and Firefly to get them to a useful cadence sooner.
NASA is close to announcing a bulk purchase of rocket launches to fuel its $30 billion drive to build a permanent base on the moon for humans to live and work bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

SpaceX already has enough launch demand, Blue has money to scale. Rocket Lab's Neutron can maybe do 2t to TLI so 1 CLPS lander. Terran R and Eclipse both are around Falcon 9 in targeted payload and need a ton of demand to get reuse going.

Me using my mk1 lungs to spin test the pump 😤
Used Gemini to convert .txt output into graphics. The error bars on Saturday's test may be quite large...

I gave myself until Friday to get the engine scripting done and I'm losing my mind. Sometimes it decides it wants to show me data other times it decides I just dont get any:

This feels a bit premature to me. I'm glad NASA paylaods can take advantage of the available payload mass and volume but there is the risk that these missions could face delays because a company is overstating how close a new launch vehicle is to flight.
New Glenn 9x4 has been added to NASA’s Launch Services Program, making both New Glenn configurations eligible to compete for NASA science and exploration missions. With an 8.7-meter fairing and the ability to carry more than 70 metric tons to LEO, 9x4 gives NASA greater payload capacity and flexibility as we expand the New Glenn fleet 🚀 Two paths to orbit. More flexibility for NASA.

Starbase pad 2 has the hardest approach by far since the others can just aim short and avoid combining a roll into the required pitch-over maneuver on a catch:
Replying to @StormSilvawalk1
Yeah, the Booster target is south of the Pad, then when it goes to 5 engines diverts to the target at the OLM, rolls about 90° to the right so the fins are aligned with the arms.
