Our marketing runs on three pillars: creators, our own community, and paid traffic. Paid traffic was my first time going really deep, from producing the creatives to measuring how each one performed. The truth is, paid traffic almost always comes out ahead on direct performance. So why work with creators at all? Because our partnerships, and everything we invested in working with 50 creators, let us position ourselves in the market with credibility. The most trusted names in the niche are on our side. Expecting a creator's conversions to match the value they bring to the ecosystem is an illusion. The key to something bigger is partnering with the creators who set the standard for credibility in the niche, people who are part of the ecosystem and actively take part in it. I don't believe any single piece moves the needle on its own. It's the ecosystem as a whole, with each part complementing the others, that drives growth together.

Launching a game live to this many people is insane. We just hit 4,200 concurrent players, and our paid acquisition is performing so well that I'm doubling the entire budget. The last 2 days with the team felt like 3 years. We've shipped fix after fix, feature after feature, and paying users keep climbing. The challenge is massive: keeping most players happy, evaluating features, fixing bugs in real time while people battle for the top of the rankings, and carrying the expectations of thousands of players. A whole lifetime happening in a few days 😅 Free-to-play gets every single feature in the game unlocked, except market access. That means even in web2, we have a live, open market where players trade freely. The market blew past our expectations, and the economy is already finding its footing. This is just the beginning.

No words for our launch. So many emotions. My whole life I've been grinding, working hard, and putting love into everything I do. But watching something we dreamed up and built now in the hands of so many players, actually having fun... that's pure magic. I had zero experience launching games. This is my first one, and all I brought was a corporate background. But I think we built something special: 📈 Numbers climbing 🔥 Traffic running hot today 👥 3K DAU 💰 Recurring revenue from players No earning promises. No airdrops. No prize leaderboards. Just trying to build something fun and competitive for players. One of the most rewarding moments of my life, knowing the real challenge starts now. This is just the beginning. Behind the scenes: hours of game design study every day, reading data nonstop, streaming, running traffic, and leading a brand-new team (with all the usual communication growing pains). Thank you to everyone supporting this in any way. 🙏

Today's the day, our big launch! 🚀 Our game goes live at 8 PM (GMT-3). Inviting everyone who wans to somehow test it. It was built for a niche in Brazil, but you can surely test and drop any feedbacks in my dms. I never imagined living through so many emotions in such a short time. Building in public, creating something for people who believe in what we're doing, and optimizing every metric firsthand, from UA to the game's economy and systems. The goal today is to bring in a strong wave of players and open the door to collabs with serious teams building in Web3. The possibilities are huge: custom skins, in-game events, and integrations with partner games, all creating more value for our players. I'll be live during the launch. Let's make it a blessed day 🙏

Watching all of this unfold, I need to be honest about something. When I first started getting into CT as a Brazilian, I could clearly feel I was being judged, and friends I made later on confirmed it. There was always this underlying assumption that "we're poor," that we don't have the purchasing power to bring in quality users. I had to hustle and work incredibly hard before I could show real results and break through some of those barriers. One meeting in 2022 has stayed with me. A lead asked whether our users even had internet access. When I asked what he meant, he made it clear he was wondering if we lived "in the jungle." Those barriers are still there today. For me, they've gotten smaller thanks to the credibility I've built over the years, but sadly, the Brazilian community is still seen that way. That's why I keep saying it: work INCREDIBLY hard, until it becomes undeniable that you can make a difference. Once you reach that point, nothing else gets to define you.

Really excited to test it and create some content around in the live stream etc. OCH was a ride while streaming Abstract early days. Hope @Skarly remembers me and @TempestGuild. If any friend can vouch us, would appreciate some love!

Why did I decide to build a web2 game? A lot of people have been asking what our game is, since most of my work has been with the Brazilian audience. We hit 4,000 users in beta, 100% organic through our community, and for Friday's launch we have 40+ creators confirmed and paid traffic kicking off. It's a fan project based on the IP of a hugely popular game that has had several side projects running for years. We took the assets and built a fully idle model, changing absolutely everything about the gameplay. The goal was to build something where our decisions actually shape the economy, and to focus on what really matters: Faucets, sinks, Live Ops, ROAS, CAC and LTV driving every economic model we adopt. It's going to be a huge learning experience, and I plan to bring all of it into our own IP, where I'll definitely be adding web3 elements. One of my goals, even for this idle game, is a marketplace where players can sell and trade their items using wallets. Full freedom for players to trade their assets. We built it with a team of 12: 2 senior devs and 1 junior using AI in their workflow, plus people on support, community, live-ops and more. Friday is the big launch and I'll have real data to share. It's not our own IP yet, but I'm going to prove the economic side I've always believed in: a game that's fun for players, bringing a free market, and actually makes REVENUE.

Was working fully in our game launch on Friday and missed RH fomo. And since i am a bad trader i did not even tried. But glad i made a "portal" with claude code about Arc launch, and worked. Taking 2x initials and leaving all there.

I love web3 and I always will, but I think I fooled myself. After ~6 years in this industry, having made significant money legitimately, I followed my dream of pushing my business deeper into crypto. The premise was perfect: meet smart people, learn, and stay committed to building something real. What surprised me was how much of that intelligence gets spent purely on extracting revenue, and how that creates an illusion for everyone who can't see how the game actually works, which only reinforces the model. Even after building one of the largest web3 gaming ecosystems, I'd still have to beg for whitelists today. Because if you stop to build something that delivers real value, you're not spending your time "networking." At the end of the day, the value isn't in what gets built. It's in how it's sold, and how well you market vaporware. It's genuinely disappointing that even the biggest names in web3 gaming and NFTs don't recognize real communities. Or they do, but if it isn't +EV, they ignore it. Believing in this industry starts to feel like utopia. The focus is on what brings me value, not on what creates value. Today I'm fortunate to have successful web2 businesses that fund the web3 bets I actually believe in: ownership, decentralization, DeFi. I'm launching this web2 game to prove I can make an economy work, with currencies, sinks, and faucets. To put to the test the knowledge I've sold, and that so many sell, under the title of "advisor." The plan is to grow as a web2 studio first, then bring something to web3. Quality and revenue first. I want to prove to myself I can do it before I attach my name to anything else. That takes time and focus, time I can't spend shilling or talking to everyone all day just to secure a whitelist spot. We'll prove it. And then I'll market a real product instead of vaporware. If you believe in what we've been building for years, @TempestGuild doors are open for collaborations with real builders who think the same way.

Building in public is insane. We launched the Open Beta of our game yesterday; with zero marketing, we had 700 concurrent players and 1,100 accounts. The team is working at full speed for our September 4th launch. I’ve never been this excited about something I’m working on.

We are thrilled to see that the top two winners of the challenge are TempestGG members who took part in our "Night" event, where we taught them some basic concepts and introduced the challenge. We are more active than ever.

I’ve been working on the game for over a month now; while the devs use my coded mock-up to build the actual game, I’ve been developing our entire CRM system with telemetry integration. Basically, every creature death and player action is tracked by an engine that established a baseline curve. For instance, a specific creature might have an average XP/h and Gold/h rate of "Y." Any significant deviation from these projections triggers an instant alert in the CRM, notifying the entire team via WhatsApp or chat. AI has opened up incredible possibilities, not yet for full-scale programming, due to security concerns and the like, but certainly for data collection and processing. I believe this will allow me to balance the economy and ensure the game's longevity by focusing on the features and actions players actually enjoy.

Last month, I hit 1 million views on long-form Web2 gaming content, including *Task Bar Hero* and other games. It was all organic, with extremely high engagement. We are building a game as a distribution channel, but I’m still actively working with partners. If you have a cool Web3 game and want to collaborate, we’re here for it. We never left Web3, and the fact that we’re generating revenue outside of it now doesn’t change that. I still believe the technology will eventually make sense (by allowing users to freely trade their items for stablecoins, allowing true ownership).

Last week we did a "night" in our discord teaching people how to vibe code a game, bringing life to their ideas. The ideas was introduce them to @Vibecode_game challenge. Proud that @TempestGuild had 6 games approved and are now competing for $3000. That was sick @YGG_Play

The first game I'm building is an Idle version of Tibia, a game I've played since I was 7 years old. Why use part of the assets from an existing project? The thing is, I've spent years advising and working with projects on UA campaigns and game design, specifically on the economic side: faucets, sinks, and sustainable loops. And that's exactly what I want to bring here. Just by going live and talking to people about the initiative, we already have 400+ members in our Discord in 2 days, before even revealing what the project is. My commitment is to deliver the best game possible, one that can sustain itself for years to come (even as an idle game). This will be a skin in the game learning journey. This is my way of stepping back from "advising" others and finally putting real skin, with my own knowledge abilities and money. I believe my vision for community, my experience with games, and my background in business will give me at least a real shot at building something great. And the best part? I get to post the entire journey here, even though Twitter doesn't come close to representing even 1% of our users. A huge thank you to everyone who's already reached out with questions, and thank you for following along. I'll do my best to share both the wins and the mistakes.

I’m really betting on gaming and have founded my own idle game studio. The idea is to reach the mass market of Web2 users and truly deliver what they’re looking for. Our first title is coming out soon. 100% bootstrapped. It’s a wonderful phase. I’ll share more soon!
