There was much surprise, and no little hilarity, among a group of friends when an unexpected guest turned up at their bachelorette party. Madeline Krebs told Storyful she was on the southern side of Lake Tahoe, in California, celebrating her friend’s bachelorette party, when a young bear arrived into the house. Her footage shows the bear on a kitchen counter, then inspecting a piano. Any hopes of a party piece are dashed when the bear is distracted by banging on the window by the friends outside, as those inside try to shoo it off. Eventually, the bear is seen outside, where it’s joined by its momma.

Tensions flared during the protest against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) held in Scarborough, Maine, when a pro-ICE demonstrator clashed with the crowd on Tuesday, July 14. A DoorDash worker managed to complete her food delivery moments after she was hit by a driver fleeing the police in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday, July 8. Home security footage from Lily Portillo captured the moment the suspect’s vehicle strikes the DoorDash driver after she stepped out of her parked vehicle. The driver is then seen briefly gathering herself before walking over to the house behind her to drop off the order. Portillo said that the DoorDash driver told her that she was okay, according to local news reports. Later footage shows the suspect fleeing across a backyard as police officers try to catch up to him. A K-9 was able to grab the suspect so officers could arrest him, local news reported.
