We’re still in the early stages, so the number of people who have joined in such a short time has surprised us. Thank you to everyone who has supported Strings and helped the community grow.
Our plan, set before launch, is to build a DeFi ecosystem that connects Web2 and Web3 through useful products and integrations. We expected to grow steadily as we introduced more projects. This rapid growth is exciting, but it doesn’t mean we should rush development or lose sight of the plan.
The mining app was the first step. We’re proud it’s now available on both Android and iOS and is working as intended. We’ll share more about other projects when they’re fully tested and ready to use.
Some people may take a break while we build. We hope they’ll follow our progress and consider returning as new projects become available.

💚 KYC CLARIFICATION: WHAT’S READY & WHAT’S NEXT
Our KYC preparations are complete, and our own verification system is undergoing testing. Originally, we planned to finish testing before reaching 2 million users.
Following your requests for earlier access, we’re temporarily pausing trading portal development to focus on KYC testing. Our aim is to open verification before the 2 million-user milestone, once the system is ready.
A third-party provider could offer an earlier route, but it would involve a fee. Our preference remains free KYC for everyone, so we’re prioritising our own system.
The trading portal remains planned for the 2 million-user milestone. We’ll announce the KYC launch date once testing is complete

We’ve completed preparations for the full KYC process and trading portal. Our next step is reaching 2 million users across all platforms—the milestone that will unlock their launch.
Once we reach it, everyone can begin verification without waiting for an invitation, a batch, or an assigned turn.
After your verification is approved, you’ll be able to trade your eligible Strings balance with other users through the portal. Verification checks will still require processing time.
