There are people NOT in the fandom who have realized they can profit. Nowhere is immune to these types of companies making suits.
Research your maker. Support within the fandom.
PREDICTION: 7/10 fursuits will be made in China or another foreign country in 5 years.
Economically, US makers cannot compete with the quality, speed, and price of Chinese suits.
Chinese makers work in large teams and use fabrication techniques I haven’t seen ever in the US

- comfortability
- after sale support
- willing of the maker to try new stuff
- support during the commission process
- delivery times
