The country is demanding answers.
Questions are being raised over Modi’s governance, his government’s record, the Election Commission, and LoP Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of #VoteChori and the legitimacy of the electoral mandate.
And what does the Prime Minister do? Bhajan Clubbing.
While democracy is being questioned, Modi is busy enjoying a spectacle at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Park in Delhi.
No answers.
No accountability.
No serious engagement with the questions shaking the country.
Just spectacle, symbolism and silence.
This is what the politics of unchecked power looks like: a leader increasingly insulated from the questions of the people he is supposed to answer to.
When a Prime Minister treats accountability as an inconvenience and public scrutiny as something to be escaped, people have every right to ask:
Is this the behaviour of a democratic leader, or the attitude of a dictator who believes he is above the people, the institutions and the questions of the Republic?
India deserves answers, not bhajan clubbing. 🇮🇳
