Let鈥檚 talk about sports odds and RTP.
I鈥檝e recently been wagering large amounts on both Duel and Stake. The experience has been very different, and the lessons are helping us shape the user experience at Gamdom.
Gamdom and Duel both offer comparatively low odds. On Duel, however, the moment you start betting they instantly limit you to reduce their exposure. It makes the low odds feel more like a marketing stunt than a genuine offering. I also had to manually confirm every single bet before it could be placed, and was occasionally given larger limits specifically so I would post my slips.
Throughout my time betting there I received almost no meaningful rewards or cashback just a small sports leaderboard. On Stake the experience is the opposite, I can actually place the bets I want, the process is fast, and I get a wide range of rewards plus substantial cashback.
Stake has worse odds and takes a higher margin approach, but the strong reward structure compensates.
At Gamdom we鈥檙e working to strike the right balance between competitive odds and giving players a rewarding experience.
On the RTP side, both Duel and Gamdom offer 100% RTP on originals (with different daily wagering limits at that level), while Stake runs a standard RTP.
Rewards are generally structured according to the RTP tier you鈥檙e playing at on all sites, where we land somewhere in the middle offering both a rewarding and high RTP option.
My overall impression is that Duel鈥檚 combination of low sports odds and 100% RTP originals functions mainly as a marketing play to pull players toward slots where they actually make their money.
