Caffeine decel has already ripped $BROS in half, but smart money knows the pain has just begun. Kiosks are the Achilles heel here. They know they need to move into new service lines but you can’t do that in a miniature little jokey store front!

I still have the entirety of the Radiohead catalog to experience for the first time. Kind of a rainy day music fund. Except for creep (obviously) and the song “everything in its right place” that is used as mood music everywhere.

Really neat tool of the day - learn how LLM's work and BUILD AND TRAIN ONE!!! Foundational knowledge! Let's go! Many people clearly think building and training LLM's is an anachronism at this stage of the game. I disagree. I think there is / will be huge power in knowing how to train up smaller models specific to the task at hand. languagemodelbuilder.com/

This is.... insane.
This is the most impressive to me, more than the 100m world record. This requires autonomous real-time planning and action in response to a fast-moving target and dynamic environment. Galbot is one of China’s top humanoid robot startups.

Fun "I want a team of agents" project of the day for you to look at: munderdiffl.in/ Fun interface with some serious technical firepower underpinning it. More importantly it easily surfaces a bunch of agentic concepts for you if you haven't quite dove in yet.

OpenClaw showed the demand, but for many the costs of agents making mistakes were just too great. And maybe the costs of just doing good work were too great. OpenClaw had several structural issues as to why adoption plummeted as well, but ultimately the cost factor had a lot to do with it.

And this is why we keep it classy and live in San Diego, Americas Finest City.
The cities with the nicest weather in the United States are almost always the most expensive.

Amazing Browser Toy of the Day: holocloth.vercel.app/ Not sure what to do with it other than it's just mind blowing reminder of how far browser rendering has come.

Unlike any other highly valued software product, LLMs have zero switching cost in my experience. In fact, I often see a benefit in switching. The new model sees things the other didn’t. I do this every day, all day. Imagine if you wanted to run multiple, I don’t know, CRMs. Hey, Hubspot says this, let me check Salesforce. Not switching LLMs has a cost. This has to exert enormous downward pricing pressure on token cost. Let’s call it: LLMs have switching incentive, or negative friction.

I am no longer keeping up with model releases. I am just using them instead of making them jump through hoops like circus clowns.
