The 9mm Bear Country rounds are 72-grain projectiles running north of 1,800 FPS on my chrono, producing more than 520 FPE (foot-pounds of energy) out of a sidearm.
For reference, run-of-the-mill 9mm is generally around 1,150 FPS and 360 FPE.
Then there's the 10mm Overwatch.
It's a 70-grain projectile approaching 2,200 FPS on my chrono and producing more than 720 FPE out of a sidearm.
For comparison, typical 10mm is roughly 1,250 FPS and 600 FPE.
Lesson of the day: Speed kills.
There are SD Team members y'all know who I've personally watched empty their mags of just about every Hornady EDC round on the market and replace it with this stuff.
One of the things you notice immediately is the reduced muzzle flip. You're getting substantially more energy than conventional 9mm and notably more than conventional 10mm, while pushing an extremely light fragmenting projectile at ridiculous velocity.
There is a tradeoff. Hot ammunition can accelerate wear on a firearm compared with more conventional loads.
But given the choice, I'll take more energy.
