Icarus Week 246 is live on PC. The new Tier 3 Metal Weapon Rack has been added, giving Prospectors a tougher, non-flammable way to store and display their weapons and tools. Crafted at the Machining Bench, it features higher durability than the Wooden Weapon Rack and fits right into any battle-ready base. This update also fixes Chocolate Cake, improves ambient and weather audio performance, increases grenade stacks to 10, updates the Server Browser, and includes mission, building cleanup and inventory fixes. We also shared a behind-the-scenes look at the studio power cut during last week’s livestream, the electrical fire scare that followed, and how the team safely got production services back online. Icarus Week 245 is live on PC. Tuskers now have breeding and Phenotypes, giving Prospectors new ways to grow, specialise and customise their herds. Craft the new Tusker Serum at the Ranching Station, pair two healthy adults, and start breeding these four-eyed beasts across the frosty biomes of Icarus. There are seven Tusker Phenotypes to discover, including one legendary variation, each giving players more reasons to explore, collect and experiment with their herd. This update also includes mission fixes, Accumulation quest improvements, ranged weapon attachment fixes, Livewire updates and improved User Reports. Read the full Week 245 update on Steam.

Icarus Week 244 is live on PC. The waters of Icarus now feel more alive, with all 20 fish species and their variations able to naturally spawn across the world. Fish now appear based on the same biome logic used for Fishing, so the species you catch in a body of water will also be the ones swimming around you. This update also adds the new Carbon Fishing Rod, crafted at the Fishing Bench, along with crash fixes, Accumulation mission updates, AI spawn fixes and Dedicated Server Browser improvements. Icarus Week 241 is live on PC. The Single Barrel Launcher has arrived, introducing a new weapon archetype built for firing grenades, smoke bombs, flares and other throwables with greater range and control. This Tier 2 launcher debuts alongside two new projectiles: the Crude Grenade and Smoke Bomb. Both can be thrown by hand or loaded into the launcher for more precise use in the field. We’ve also reverted the Steel Screw recipe change following community feedback, restoring the output from 10 back to 100 per Steel Ingot. The update also includes pouch and bag weight fixes, food buff fixes for clients, and a fix for underground debuffs not being removed after using unstuck in caves. Icarus Week 240 is live on PC. The T4 Foundry has received a new, smaller mesh, making it easier to place alongside other crafting benches while keeping its full functionality. This update also includes a recipe rebalance across the Foundry, Forge and Anvil, with crafting times and bench speeds adjusted to better match item tiers. The first refreshed Olympus Operation is also here, with Homestead renamed to Rustic and updated with an improved mission flow and new early-game hints. We’ve also fixed a long-standing issue where Workshop items could be lost when sent back to space by another character on the same prospect. Read the full Week 240 update on Steam.

The MXC Oxite Dissolver has been added to the Workshop, giving Prospectors a new deployable option for refilling oxygen canisters early in a drop. Powered by Sulfur, the MXC Oxite Dissolver uses Oxite to fill any compatible oxygen vessel. It is more efficient than the Tier 2 Oxite Dissolver and performs on par with the Tier 3 Metal Oxite Dissolver, while remaining portable enough to bring from the Workshop. This update also adds major DLC badges to the title screen, along with a Scuttler rebalance, destructible mesh material fixes, Moa fur fixes, Skulk collision updates and other improvements.
