i get that people are skeptical bc she’s known to do all sorts of things for attention. only time will tell if she’s truly repented. i also hope that her decision is genuine. i think people forget we are ALL sinners in need of Christ, she’s not worse just bc her sins are public

It is actually good to treat this with some skepticism. Can you imagine asking the relatives of people Paul was involved in martyring to just welcome him with open arms on day one. Or should she now become a deacon on day one?

I’m just tired of bad people using following Jesus as absolution and almost entitlement to be a bad person. Following Jesus doesn’t make you a good person. Being a good person does. If following Jesus leads to that, good for her.

Agreed, I think we're probably all just tired and jaded at this point. A lot of us have been broken by the world and people we really thought had changed only to be shown in the end they stayed the same, they just got better at hiding.

Common Swipa... Jesus is being misused by so many evil people. I dont care if this is real or not. Actions have consequences. Jesus can forgive but other people are not forced to.
