Decided to do the thing everyone else seems to be doing. This isn’t in any particular order and ain’t even close to all the games I’d like to put (as I’d like to include numerous other Pokémon and Fire Emblem titles), but they’re among some of my favorite games.

Massive layoffs at Microsoft, they are cutting 268 jobs across Xbox as part of another major restructuring, with several studios being reorganized. - Ninja Theory: Two potential sale deals fell through. Microsoft is discussing possible closure with employees while seeking other options. - Arkane: Discussions about the studio’s future continue and may last until year’s end. - Halo: Activision will help develop the next major Halo game with a new team separate from Call of Duty. - Obsidian: Will move under Bethesda while continuing current games and a new Fallout project. - Playground Games and Turn 10: Will merge into one studio working on Forza and Fable. - Rare and World’s Edge: Activision will take on additional responsibilities for both studios. - Undead Labs: Has moved to a new publishing arrangement. State of Decay 3 remains planned for day-one Game Pass release. Microsoft says the restructuring is around 75% complete. More to come
