The path of most resistance is underrated. @jelle_dijkstra, @benjamingalindo, and I spent almost 4 years building BrightFunded without being active on social media. We were focused on building something that would last. Every decision had a fast version and a slow version. We took the slow version almost every time. Instead of licensing a platform from a technology provider, we hired our own developers and built ours from scratch. From day one, the ambition was to build an industry leader. Getting there means having control over what we build, what we fix, and how quickly we respond to traders. If you want to go far, you have to be willing to go slow at the start. We took on more work early so we could move faster on our own terms later. We’re nowhere near done building. And the ambition goes beyond what you see today. Figured it was time to join the conversation.
