I'm getting a sick and tired of people knocking electric cars when they clearly don't know what they're talking about. I own two top-of-the-range EVs: a Jaguar and a Porsche. The acceleration is incredible, the handling is superb, and they both look fantastic. Running costs are pennies, maintenance is practically non-existent, and neither has lost a penny in value since I bought ‘em. Honestly, my only complaint is that if I take a corner a bit too enthusiastically, they fly off the track and disappear under the sofa.
