That’s the whole point .. the reason we settled on such a low fee isn’t just to do something flas a marketing gimmick .. that would, as some have said, only be shortlived for adoption…
The reason we took that decision is because it creates a terrain that would actually be interesting for people to come into the XRPL ecosystem. It’s great to build but if the builds don’t promote longevity of people coming in, what keep them here?
Having built out the way we have allows us to maintain that fee structure, however there’s so much more to it. The idea behind it is to grow adoption, to make people come AND stay. To ensure that those who have their home here know that there is somewhere that’s looking out for them then for ourselves..naturally if traders are happy the platform gets happy too. But starting with the motion oriented towards the actual user is where we stand.
Like @JakeofAlltrds says, by the trenches for the trenches.
In general terms and with all that SpyDex provides, it seems unreasonable to not recognise the platform as something that is pushing in its own way adoption and growth of the XRPL.
I feel we are a part of many great tools here and shall continue to push the barrier in what we can achieve.
Example in this case, opening the doors to a whole other ecosystem that will have the ease of changing networks and get that full exposure to the XRPL that once was not so fluid to achieve..and by that ‘simple’ click, brings potential volume and a whole new wave of interest.
If I wasn’t a part of SpyDex I’d be very excited about what’s coming in the massive upgrade .. time is ticking and we’re only a few days away

the most common question i get on x is whether price will gradually increase or skyrocket all at once.
the answer is sky rocket at once.
when i was at @Wharton, one of the most important concepts we studied was the tech adoption s-curve.
and if you want to understand how crypto adoption and price action work, you must know how the s-curve works:
1/ new technology always starts slow and remains flat during its early stages
think back to the early days of internet or TV. chances are, only a few people in your circles used them (similar to crypto at the moment).
adoption begins slowly among a handful of early adopters.
2/ adoption grows gradually until critical mass
as adoption grows beyond the early adopters, it reaches the critical mass phase.
this is the tipping point where the technology gains enough users that its growth becomes self-sustaining, shaping the upward trajectory of the s-curve.
3/ steep upward acceleration
as adoption grows and network effects take control, the tech accelerates rapidly throughout society and captures a large segment of the population.
as adoption progresses along the s-curve, the exponential surge in demand coupled with limited supply will drive prices exponentially higher.
just like you won't find anyone who doesn't use the internet or TV today, in a few years you'll be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't use crypto.
@easya_app is at the forefront driving this mass adoption.
