I first saw Oloye Akin Alabi @akinalabi in person in 2022 at the Expertnaire Summit.
But by then, I had already been learning from him for more than 3 years through his book, Small Business Big Money, and from the things he consistently shared about business.
So even before I ever met him properly, learning from him had already become part of my own journey.
Then came the Business Growth Conference (BGC) in 2023.
I took that conference seriously. I went back, applied the lessons, changed how I approached certain parts of business, and honestly, things have only moved upward from there.
Which is why this next part means a lot to me.

I came to visit my friend and asked him “How much do you want to make Next Year”
The amount he called was very small.
Because he hasn’t done that figure it looked big.
I understand.
I then told him 10X that.
And that’s the amount you should target next year.
He was scared at first but at last he actually 20X it and I asked him again..
How much do you want to make next year.
Then he called the 20x and I was proud.
Then I gave him a resource on how to plan it and make it a reality.

Building a business is a different ball game to been a marketer!!!
Tho first off you have to be a good marketer or sales person or at worst be able to hire good ones to build a good business
But a business is a different ball game
It takes a while to get going and 2024 as a result has been a tough year
But I think I would look back and call it my best year because it was the year I evolved!!!
I didn’t make money
Not even as much as I did in 2023 where I was ACTUALLY COOKING lol
But 2024 is the year I became a different person
Mentally, physically and Psychologically
I’m grateful

I’m really really good with this Facebook Ad thing!!! (I mean I just checked the results of a campaign this morning $1800 spent, $12k in sales.
And I still paid $2k to learn from one of the best in Canada this month.

These days a lot of people are the best Facebook Advertisers the world has ever seen with their 10k spent on ads weekly.
I see their post, laugh and move on
No point trying to say anything
I guess a win is a win.
But sometimes try and keep your ego in check because that's how you learn and you cannot learn with that 10k budget
When you are on the task of spending 7figures daily then you'd understand you've been playing the wrong game completely
Till then my No 1 Facebook Ad guru.

My biggest pride and Joy is health benefits, leave benefits and others I created in my workspace.
It's amazing feeling
And yes God willing we would grow 10x of this and more.
One of my goals is to come to work and not have space to pack my car... every worker has a nice ride. Vacation for each. We already have health insurance for them. We are going to keep improving on it. We are growing.
