The 2026 TCOLE Conference wrapped up last month and brought over 1,200 law enforcement professionals together for training and an opportunity to share resources they could bring back to their agency. We visited with a few of them to hear more about their experience.

Recently, TCOLE signed a partnership with South Texas College and Donna ISD as part of our growing Criminal Justice Career Pipeline. This program will give Donna ISD seniors an opportunity to complete their telecommunicator or jailers licensing courses before graduating.

Field Service Agent Pat Aitchison brings a plethora of experience to his role at TCOLE. Across his nearly 40 years of experience in law enforcement, he has worked a variety of roles including Training Coordinator, Administrative Captain and 911 Coordinator, among others.
