Also agree with this. People really don’t think enough about how they win from certain board states as well. Like a lot of players fumble when to go for board/shields and they don’t focus enough on what the odds are of the opponent’s response vs their inherent win con.
There’s so many times where you watch people play out their turns in GCG and it’s so inefficient and it snowballs gradually. But they’ll just blame the opponent for being lucky. It’s a game with variance indeed, but if you’re losing way more games. It should reflect something

While honestly everyone should have known he was either lying or cheating after the DQ and his first response— that doesn’t give anyone the right to be an asshole.
I hate it when people ruin the integrity of the game, but there’s no need to pile on, and risk someone’s mental health. Hope he gets the help he needs, and mean comments don’t add to this situation at this point.
I want to apologize to Minh, Challenger TCG and all of my supporters who defended me. I really fucked up and double down on it. I was afraid and have never been in this situation before. I didn’t want to let everyone down by telling the truth of what really happened, and on top of lying to everyone including my family and friends, I was lying to myself. I didn’t wanna believe it myself that what I was doing was cheating, as crazy as that sounds. I know what I did was wrong, and again, nothing I can say can change that I truly am sorry to everyone, especially to my opponents who I played against. I love Riftbound with everything I have and unfortunately, I really let down a lot of people. I truly am sorry.

Regardless of where this goes, this is super cool to see. I’ve talked about how Riftbound’s socials really engage with the player base and creators— would love to see this be a step in that direction!
They also asked to have a video call in the next few days to discuss our thoughts on the game and ways they could be involved in our content.
