Today marks 25 years since the attacks of 9/11. That day shook our nation, changed the world, and left an enduring impact on countless lives. We remember those we lost, honor the courage and sacrifice of so many, and keep their families and loved ones in our hearts. #NeverForget

Some days in life can be summed up by a simple sentence. Others require chapters to tell; September 11, 2001 is one of them. Twenty-five years later, we remember the innocent lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and give thanks for the courage and unity that emerged from our nation’s grief. @MariaLeeTN and I invite Tennesseans to join us in prayer for the families forever changed by this terror and observe moments of silence at the following times. May we never forget.
