Moving to Dubai doesn’t magically switch off UK tax.
I’ve had to step in for far too many people who moved on bad (or no) advice, with zero planning and ended up with six-figure UK tax bills in year one.
Wrong advice. Wrong assumptions. Very expensive mistakes.
Geography ≠ tax planning.

I HOPE this episode results in a revisiting of the rules, regardless of how City are punished. But I doubt it because all of the noise is from rival fans wanting titles they didnt win rather than properly looking at how its different rules for different teams
United would have been able to legally do every single thing City did, despite having 1bn in debt, solely because we were the dominant team at the time the big tv money came in. It’s ridiculous.

FFP/PSR was initially created to make clubs more prudent and it suddenly became sporting rebalancing
I back protecting the supporters and employees from their clubs over leveraging but it’s overstepped now
