If you are having trouble due to MOTUS, email us via Support@Truckers.com for assistance. You don't have to be a member to ask us for help, but by the time we're done asking top-level officials @FMCSA to step in to get your issue resolved, we're pretty sure you're going to want to join the SBTC. Act now, and membership for the rest of 2026 is just $17.76 in honor of America's 250th birthday. This! 💯👇🏻
MOTUS is out here destroying the very people that @FMCSA swears to protect. It’s a big slap in the face.

I had to turn down a carrier this week because motus showed no authority and no insurance. The carrier emphatically stated otherwise but with all the legal craziness my back was against the wall.

For the love of all that is holy, when you see a rate like this, delete the posting (you can do that in truckstop). Let it sit and grow mold and eventually rot and die. Taking these rates will put you out of business faster than if you just lose a day or two and sit without a load because fuel is crazy. High fuel, low pay? Keep the truck parked today!
This just sent to me- this is the shit that some carriers and owner ops are dealing with at over 6 bucks a mile for fuel. Don’t forget to thank a trucker every single day! This is a “HOT LOAD” also by the way. See the 🔥 boosted yeah that means it’s hot.

There are six issues that are obvious with MOTUS. 1. Carriers who are flagged as OOS on safer are totally fine in MOTUS. And some carriers who never had an OOS as a carrier have an OOS in MOTUS. 2. Carriers who are required to have 750k in liability are deactivated because MOTUS increases the limit to 5mil for no reason, and some carriers who require 5mil are showing up as requiring 750k. 3. Carriers who replace their old insurance with a new insurance are getting deactivated for not having insurance. 4. Carriers who have no insurance are showing up as active. 5. Authorities being cancelled for no reason whatsoever. 6. Excess insurance showing up incorrectly. So basically, if a broker is relying on MOTUS to make a decision about a carrier, a legit carrier might look like crap while a grounded carrier with no insurance might look legit. Good job @fmcsa. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 What a nightmare 🥴🥴🥴

Is it just me, or is the market starting to feel eerily like 2023-2024? Where loads are flying off the board, brokers are posting a rate and then reducing that rate within 5 minutes, there are more trucks that loads, etc? Its not all markets, but the west coast has quit on flatbeds, TX is becoming a challenging market, the rockies are leaving much to be desired. And fuel is somewhere up in the stratosphere. The heck?

These guys could have been shut down last year when this video was going viral. Instead nothing happened and now yet another preventable fatal wreck has occurred.
I think this video shows the King of Chameleon Carriers. Found of Facebook. Link will be in the comment.
