Ohio is undeniably becoming a physical center of American AI compute. Construction jobs, tax revenue and infrastructure investment matter. But the bigger question is whether Ohio can capture a disproportionate share of the value created around all this compute.
Can we build companies, develop talent, expand research, train skilled trades, drive energy innovation, grow suppliers and create new industries that remain here for decades? Or will we mostly host the infrastructure while much of the compounding economic value accrues somewhere else?
