magic eden is having a security scare and all the listed NFTs are at risk
old ethereum marketplace contracts (shut down in march) still had active approvals
someone could've snatched NFTs for 0 ETH
@0xQuit , a whitehat researcher, noticed it first and moved ~3,832 NFTs ($1.4M+) to a safe wallet before criminals could
it's an absolute legend move, all the NFTs will be returned to owners once the risk is gone.
if you ever used magic eden on ethereum
1. go to revoke.cash
2. connect the wallet that might have listed NFTs on magic eden
3. look for any magic eden related contracts and revoke those approvals
4. do this even if you haven’t used the site in a long time
this could've been a disaster.
No idea whats going on here but I just watched this wallet drain 3832 NFTs from 100s of different wallets
May be a good idea to revoke all NFT permissions if you have any valuables in your wallet
Seems to be funded from a wallet possibly linked to @0xQuit so maybe a whitehat?
