Where are all the college football fans who were shouting "the integrity of the sport is at risk" when Tech does it. But when it's a a national level, they silent.
UEFA said that FIFA, by making an exception with Balogun and doing so in the middle of the World Cup, has put the integrity of the game "at stake" and set a precedent.
"Football, like any other sports, relies on rules, which are the basis for fair, honest and transparent competition," the UEFA statement added.

Here is my official take on Brendan Sorsby:
(1) First, Sorsby shouldn't be playing football due to sports betting, but here we are in 2026. The NCAA has clear rules that states if you sports bet, especially it being your own team, all eligibility goes away.

(3) At the end of the day, every other university would do what we are doing, which is going to play our #1 transfer QB. My personal opinion is if you break the rules, you suffer consequences. But I guess that doesn't exist anymore.
